The patient will ALWAYS go to the closest appropriate facility. The other day, I was dispatched to a possible stroke call. They wanted me to drive from west Atlanta to Cobb County when the C.A.F. was 8 miles down the road. I took them to the closest and not to Cobb County. It all just depends on their condition and if their choice warrants the drive. If I was in Newnan and was dispatched to a trauma, they would come to Atlanta. Neither Newnan nor Fayette are good enough trauma centers.

That depends on if they are stable enough to wait that long. Airlifting can take forever depending on how serious the injuries are. Usually, if there is an accident involving three or more cars or someone is killed in one car, the bird will be called to be ready. FD will call ahead of time so that when we actually show up on scene to get them packaged, the bird has landed and is ready for our response to them. If an extra long transport distance is present, they will be called for that as well. There are so many variables that come into play when calling for flight. People really don't give us Medics enough credit. It's always the FD or PD. People don't see what we actually do.

either the guy before me, or the guy before him went to town on the wiring. Even the best buy dudes installing my headunit and running speaker wires laughed at how poorly it looked, inside and out. Some wires in the engine bay are stripped, etc.. It needs some tlc I didn't initially do the minime, bought it that way. Had overheating problems, then blew a headgasket. The vtec wasn't hooked up, etc. So I had to go in and do all that. Even the spark plug cables were for the wrong head. Been a mess trying to clean up after whoever did this hack job. But it's running fine now, sort of. Best it'll do I guess. Just burning a good amount of oil and some valve chatter.

The front bumper usually gets sand pitted, gouges, etc from everyday use so I would probably do the same and just replace it. That's what I did with the bumper on the Subie. Bumper covers are pretty cheap anyways.

When I had the Evo for sale, I had someone offer me $5k less than my asking price saying that's all he had. When I declined, he got all pissed off and asked why I was willing to accept. Well for one, the car was for sale for only a couple days and not ready to give it away.

Philip, don't give it away. Everything takes time and unfortunately now is not a sellers market. If you can afford it, hold on to her until March/April of next year when the weather starts to warm back up. That or put it back to stock...

i'm happy with a mid 13 car, especially untuned. but my sixty foots are cosistent 1.9xx and i know guys cutting 1.7xx sixty foots. i mean that's 2 tenths and counting right there. i don't know what to do differently to cut a better 60 foot...
i have had people mention that running a lightweight crank pulley is possbly the culprit. the lighter pulley puts less of a load on the motor off the line which means it takes more effort/time to build more boost.
