No no, you're thinking of me bitching and being anal about how I wanted the entire sill, not just the plates. The complete sill is impossible to find, so I finally settled for the plates. What I like that I didn't know before was that they mount with a very specific type of OEM adhesive backing, not 3M mounting tape as most people on CRSX claim.

If it was anything like my coupes legend emblem in the door sill, its a very thin clear vinyl doublesided tape.

Trying to have comp clutch make one for the platform or my tuner had kentucky clutch make one which seems to be the best for the money right now and the only one that he seems to not grenade. Holds 500ft/lbs

same.....same even as the supercharged ss. but the clutchmasters seem to blow up...specs are iffy...the +'s are better than the regular ones....seen 3 hypersingles explode in the last 6 months. none of them are really built for 400-500ft/lbs.

I went to a rotated turbo setup and had it on the road for a month or so then one night while working on it, I somehow ended up taking the IM off and doing what they call a reverse intake manifold setup. As a result, I've had to custom fab my own IC pipes. I just haven't had the time/nor motivation to complete it.

13k=awesome car for sure, for 8k you should fine a really nice ride. In that case i would stay with a jap car they are easy on gas and easy to fix and repair. german cars tend to good on gas but, hard on repairs. i would say an acura cl, tsx or something along those lines.

If they're selling that car for $6k, you'll EASILY have doubled that by the time you pay it off.

yes i understand. I dont plan on financing a car that old, but i was just looking at the price of the car in general. My credit score is mid 700s with one defaulted credit card from 6 years ago. But yes, I do realize the huge interest rates involved with the buy here, pay here lots. My bank would do the financing.
