I've decided that Subaru's mapping of 08+ STI's and 09+ WRX's is a royal pain in the ass and the redundancies of it various tables is nothing short of annoying! From a stock rom to me creating my own basemap, going through it table by table usually takes me between 20-30 minutes. I had to create a basemap for a '12 WRX last night/this morning and it took between 1.5- 2 hours....

First up was a set of these PCI front control arm spherical bushings. My bushings were non-existent from the stress of my fucked up suspension geometry, so these PCI ones were a nice upgrade/repair. If you've ever had to press bushings, you know it's a nightmare.

Every magazine in the world got low 12's and MM&FF got a 11.95 out of a stock, iron block, '10 GT500 with street tires. MM&FF pulled out a 11.59 @120 on DRs. Hell even the 500hp '07-'09 GT500's trapped High 11's with DR's.

I went out today to start bending the hard fuel lines on the shitbox, kinked one, said fuck it and went back in the house and cracked a beer. I guess i'll be running all braided instead of some hard and some braided.

I always freeze mine in the freezer overnight and that helps remove them. Stops the rubber from moving around so much. Also freeze the new poly ones as well. Shrinks them up a little.

The new ones were not poly but instead spherical. Like Daniel had mentioned, the shape of the control arm didn't make it any easier when trying to press out the bushings with the hydraulic press. Once we figured it out though, it wasn't AS bad. When we went to reinstall the control arms, we realized that the arrows stamped on the bushing were incorrect so we had to repeat the process again. Nothing went smooth that night unfortunately.

Hahaha I read that article. The new mag. suspension is amazing but I am just regarding the trap speeds and street performance. To be honest......I dont see too many people buying tickets to ship their ZL1 over to the Nurburgring. The Boss is also 10K+ cheaper and a N/A 5.0L vs a 6.2L S/C. Not making excuses, just saying Motor Trend did not have their hands on the 2013 so they are just going with what they got. Im excited to see Chevy and Ford go head to head over the next few years :goodjob:

The ZL1 can hit the curbs and the car just sticks to the ground. It is very impressive thats for sure. I know Motor Trend has the video on their youtube but I dont feel like looking for it and probably not too many would even give a shit to watch it haha.

Last year I know we were a little disorganized, as usual, and ended up splitting the group due to side stops and such. We need to lock down a firm rollout, not meetup time. Any drinks, snacks, chairs, whatever, need to be acquired the night before.

Yes and yes, but the problem is unless we arrive an hour in advance to wait in line like we did got summer, there will be a line whether we show up at 9, 10, 11, or 12. I would almost rather wait in line at 9 and get a better parking spot then show up at 11 and get a shity one. I know almost none of us is going to wake up at 6, leave by 7, and wait in line at 8.

You need proof of ownership to get a chipped key, but maybe there are ways around it. I cant believe someone actually stole an 03-04 Cobra....its actually pretty sad.You can buy high mileage ones for low teens. Low life pieces of shit.

I bought a key for the Silver Bullet without ever showing shit. Paid cash too. It took 2 weeks to get to the dealer, but worked like a charm to unlock the door and ignition. I still had to marry it, but the key itself was fine. Local dealer here in ATL.
