woot! got my airbag light off, finally.

It hasn't worked since the swap, since Trueno Sprinters (JDM corolla) don't have the AB port in the diagnostic box.
I made a airbag light/diagnostic code reset tool which proved to be a waste of $10, without that port.

Took apart my dash and removed the gauge cluster, pulled the bulb, and replaced a couple of dead ones.

next project: figuring out why my alarm system goes off when you plug it in
I'm not buying a new headunit until I have an alarm, and I got a month 'til my birthday when I've set aside money to spend on my car (new front bumper, new stereo, new paint)

Yep, KMC (stands for Keep the Money Coming) and like 20 other companies are owned by ARE. There are really only a handful of actual wheel manufacturers. For Example: Konig makes tons of wheels for other companies, so does Enkie. SOme of the big names like HRE and BBS make their own stuff, but there are really only about 10 companies that own the tooling and make variations of their own stuff for others. SSR is owned by Tire Rack and makes all tire racks wheels.

MW2 was hacked for a while. I think the glitch you're talking about is the care package running glitch, hold a care package marker in your hand then sprint. You run faster than anything else that way (add on lightweight and marathon, boom warp speed).

Well, I filed a police report, not like it'll actually do anything. I've got liability insurance (hell, would you put full coverage on a '92 that is worth less to an insurer than a year's insurance?) and it doesn't cover things like this.
The scratches are too deep to fill in and buff out and still look right, so the only thing to do is sand down and repaint... which is a project I'm saving for.

I now no longer own that car after roughly two months. Now I have $3K to play with and really want a Del-Sol but can't find one with a few mods for that price.

I picked up three paint fix pens to make it look a little less noticeable. Got a primer/filler, Super White, and a clear coat.
It's not going to be the most gorgeous fix, but it'll work until I repaint.
Been thinking gun metal grey with a hint of metallic blue, cleared with more metallic paint.
White and black are waaaaaay too hard to maintain.

I did the primer/filler in Autozone's parking lot, then went to Texas Roadhouse and got smashed on no-rocks Long Islands, the last one being pretty much just a glass of shots.
Made it the 1000 feet home, started feeling that last one, jumped in the shower for about an hour, then passed out around 11.

I feel fucking fantastic now, though.

Well, I'm starting to sand down all the fill primer. It's all flush , I'm about 2 feet into it, so everything from my rear tire back is done. Trying to not completely destroy my paint, even though I will be repainting eventually. Can't find the right color of paint in stores. Had picked up some Super White II, but it's not nearly as white as my paint, which is factory Super White.
So I think instead of getting a new sound system next month, I'm buying an air compressor and paint tools.

What the price at Litz? Only reason i go to sharpsburg is they are really close to the house and I buy my tires from them. I haven't had the Shitbox aligned anywhere as I just do it in my garage. I don't think I would have a prob getting it on the lift though as its not really lowered.

So, I just got bank account raped.

Bought some Spoon Calipers from AJ Racing which is located in Canada. They quoted me a price with CAN $$ and gave me an approx. US $$. What they quoted me was way lower then what I was charged. Nothing against them, cause I can see in my bank account, what they charged me in CAN. But, what was actually charged in US is over $100 more what they quoted me. Plus another $20 for "Currency exchange fee."

Plus, I have to pay some $$ for Customs since its international. I don't know why...

Yup, actually rides pretty well. Did great down to panama city and daytona beach. Just gotta get a couple things handled on the rear and it should be another inch and a half lower in the rear. Should be tucking half my tire.

Boost was nice but it needed more work than what I really wanted to put into it. Sold it for 600 less than what I bought it for. Doesn't bother me. Now I am on the hunt for a Honda and it looks like it will be the DelSol Vtec that is listed on here in the FS Honda section.

Word of advise, next time you order anything where it requires the currency to be converted, ask that they provide you with a quote in $USD and you can stick it to them instead of running into a situation like this one.

You can say that! Sheared every tooth off of the 2nd gear counter shaft after power shifting on DR's @ 6000 rpm. Started racing at 11 am, was back on the trailer at 11:05 am.

When I first shifted into second I thought to myself "Wow, Who in the hell put Marbles in my Trans?" The engine promptly banged off of the rev limiter and it took a second to figure out what happened. I put it in third, it felt good so I ran throught the rest of the 1/4. Nothing like blowing the trans and running the 1/4 in only 1st and 3rd gear and still running a 15 second 1/4 mile. At least it left me plenty of time to drink beer and shoot the crap with everyone.

What really sucks is it only had 700 miles on it. I had just put these gears in so they would handle the 400+ Ft Lbs of torque. Guess they weren't up to the challenge.

I'm sorta old school style (though I ride a conventional skateboard, aka popsicle stick), by that, I mean that I don't do any of the technical crap kids do these days, I stick to old school tricks. No halfcab treflip to feeble 360 pop shove it out for me.
