If you don't mind cheapass POS wheels like Rota, Drag, XXR, etc, then sure you can find anything you want. However, you will not find such wheels on the Miata. That's not allowed in my house. ;)

my thoughts exactly. its a FULLY BUILT motor with what appears to be a limitless budget. id venture to guess it gets filled up with E85 if it is a true daily. even still, full weight with AC and shit, im impressed.

Nothing like being in a lightly built car and watching a dude in a bone stock POS (this one actually was a pos as I dont mean Miatas in general are) Miata constantly blow your doors off going around the corners. I finally just gave up and didnt pass him in the straights anymore cause he would just catch up and blow by me in the turns. It was pretty sad.

nah. no wideband on the car. i need one one im trying to hold out. the A/F ratio with the map thats on the car should be mid-low 11's and after 6k in the high 10's. but with my intake the MAF scaling is off a smidge so it likely a bit richer.
its less power but safer. fucking thing spools up quick! its a super small turbo (i nicknamed it "mini mouse" lol) so thats to be expected. ask Steve about it;) hehehehehe

I'm aware that we are in America but we also have the worse drivers IMO. People here take driving as a right and not as a privilege. People are so distracted between texting, talking on their cell phone, or whatever it may be. My biggest gripes are they are driving with their high-beams on or cruising in the PASSING lane traveling at the same speed as the person in the right lane therefore blocking traffic. People also seem to forget that their cars are equipped with turn-signals. I could go on for days on what I don't like about driving here but why bother.

See, thing is I don't travel at the same speed as the person in the right lane. I stay in the left lane b/c I'm usually traveling too fast to stay in the right lane. I just don't like having to go back and forth between the left and right lanes b/c the people in the right lane are traveling too slow for me to stay there. I don't block traffic. I stay in the left to avoid the people blocking traffic in the right lane.

in most cases a name brand exhaust doesnt mean its the "best"... on most hondas an ebay catback with whatever muffler you like is a great combo. vibrant makes awesome mufflers fyi...
for me piping diameter, the bend type (mandrel bent is the onlyway to go!), along with decent flanges and welds are the only things i really look at. we live in a mild climate so rust and corrosion isnt that big of a deal.

no. lol the S2K is the exception to the rule. the damn things are so finiky as far as making bolt on power that the ones that do provide results are exceptionally expensive- as you know.
i was talking to an old friend yesterday thats building a simple d series for daily use and was talking about getting a really expensive exhaust and i just dont get it: its a slow daily thats never gonna get track time, its not gonna make alot of power, and yet he's buying parts that are designed for full blown racecars. I have seen many cars on the dyno loose power with shitty exhausts. Then they sound like ass 6 months later when the China Bullshit glass blows out and the welds crack.

If you can't afford to get the good stuff, then maybe dicking around with cars isn't the hobby for you. Cars are intended to get you from point A to B. Once you start screwing with them, it's now a hobby. If you cut corners and buy hack shit, then whats the point? Buy the right shit, buy it once, and do you hobby well.

Companies like APR and Magnaflow spend millions to develop nice stuff that actually makes power, sounds good, fits right, and lasts. Buying bullshit no-name brand stuff is a crapshoot and kills the folks that actually spend the time developing it. :goodjob:
