The guy who bought my dad's mazdaspeed 6 came over yesterday for me to install the cat back, test pipe, boost tubes and cold air that my father had. We put it all on and he took it for a drive down my road. He went about a half a mile turned around and came back commenting that it seemed a bit quicker. (keep in mind we just bolted on 40tq and 30hp!!) I could tell he never took it above 4500 rpm.
He seen me looking at the car and halfway jokingly asked me if i wanted to take it for a drive. "Yeah, come on get in, Phillip." My father smiles and tells me to "show him what it can really do."
Those of you that have been to my house and exited my driveway to the left know how much fun my road is, and those of you that I have "scared" while driving know that this newb was in for a shock. He admitted to never taking it above 5k rpm. I told him for the next 3 miles we wouldn't go below 4500rpm.
We came back and his legs were visibly shaking. He told my father that he's never experienced anything like that, and couldn't believe that the car was that fast. My father smiled from ear to ear and replied "He learned that from me."

The only "race fuel" we have is what Pit Stop has to offer but that's unleaded. IMO, it's not going to make that much of a difference on an N/A car to justify the cost of it - unless your car is tuned for it. Just put 93 in it and be happy. :)

Swapped out injectors with Prelude injectors and it runs a little better.......with a vacuum leak anyways. Test drove it and forgot to reconnect the vacuum hose on the pressure regulator and it ran great. Reconnected it and back to square one.

We all know how you feel towards Roxie but the name calling and stating that she has gonasypaherpalytics is not really necessary; to be honest, I find this to be rather childish considering she doesn't post anything that effects you in a negative way. We're all local and get along great and if you don't particularly care for someone then I suggest either add them to the ignore list so you don't see their post or walk the other direction if you see them at a meet.
