The scoop directed all that water and hit my entire bay. I had to shake off the filter.
No harm, no foul, since I caught it before it could suck anything up.

I had to do that on an old '85 ranger I had when I was 17 up in Michigan. Damn snow and water would wash in from the cab being so rotted out. Couple of old cookie sheets, tin snips, lotsa Caulk (of course I only used black caulk cause it comes in a bigger tube and fills the hole better :ninja:), and a shitload of "Pop" Rivets and no more water!!! It wasnt the strongest thing but it worked.

Gotta keep in mind what else is rotted out. It might be worth it just to save up and get a rolling chassis so you can start modding something that isn't falling apart. If it was me I would say F it and start saving up for the rolling chassis. If the guy in Fayetteville has one for $500 he would more than likely take 350 - 400 possibly 300 for it. Spend a week swapping eveything over and turn around and sell yours for 200.

I'd definitely need another garage. Last time I swapped parts from one car to another, the apartment management threatened to tow my parts car.
I'll swap the chassis sometime, though, when I can afford it.
It's just very trim-specific. Can't be a GT or GTS. HAS to be a ST, 'cause it's the model that has the A-series bay.

A new super secret software from Edelbrock. It makes your EFI act just like a carb setup!!! :D with associated leaks and crappy driveability

I just need to put it on the rollers to figure out the A/F mix and see if I can gain a little bit with it. I know I can get alot more out of my combo than what I'm getting right now. Not so much in WOT but throughout the powerband and driveability.

Godd deal, Thank you! It should be easy enough, I just have an Edelbrock 1407 750 Carb on it with a stock Duraspark II ignition setup. I don't think it will be too much of a hassle to get her in the right spot. The calibration kit is already sitting in the back seat so I have most of the rods and jets I will need. Hopefully.
