I think I'm ordering an Exedy this time. I hope I can make it out to the meet this week. My clutch is almost shot. I drove it downtown, and it kept slipping. Foot completely off the clutch pedal, I hit the accelerator, and all I get is revs until 5k then it catches and drops down.

I measured pedal freeplay, checked the fluid, clutch spindown time, and release. All fine.
I'm assuming my disk just has excessive wear. I can't tear it apart until I get a hoist.

Saw a Silver Cobalt SS sedan today on my campus, looked pretty similar to yours bryan. Only thing is it didnt say "turbo charged" on the back and it didnt have fog lights but it had the fog light openings (had blanks in the place.)

that was most definitely a pre 08 SS sedan then.. the 2.4L N/A model.. cuz all '09 SS Sedans were turbo.. and only come with a different molded fog light front bumper.. not black inserts like regular 'balts

You've been doing your research I see. I was going to mention the tranny but figured you knew that much. I'd see what others recommend on NASIOC/WRXA in terms of fluid. It varies from car to car. Unfortunately for me, I have to use this "special" Diaqueen crap via the stealership for the transfer case.

When I was a kid my Uncle had a 62' Falcon Wagon. I tried and tried to get him to keep it for me but he ended up selling it a year before I turned 15. It was like this body style but silver. I also was looking for another one of these or a hardtop 64-65 Comet or Falcon when I built me current car. Prices have gone up so far I couldn't afford to get one of them AND build a decent engine for it. So I paid $400 for my current car, drove it home, and ripped the drivetrain out and put my current combo together.

What's there to help with? You jack up your car, loosen the holding nut, turn it up or down, and tighten. I have some ground controls on mine, and it's an easy adjustment.

The jack i have is way to big,ive tried driving over some wood,but i wont be able to get the jack out underneath when it gets lowered some more. I bought them with the car and it looks like theve been on there for awhile and the one ive tried to adjust will barely budge,doesnt help i dont have the spanner wrench for it.

a low profile jack is your friend! If you can't get a low-pro jack underneath, then we'll talk :D

There isn't really any on there. My windshield wiper arms were the worst. I had two small spots on my hood scoop, and a couple of spots on the bottom of my fender.
And a dremel is perfect for removing rust. There are a bunch of sanders and finishers to choose from.

I just picked up a can of black for my wiper arms and a can of white for some quick body rust-prevention, then some aluminum engine enamel. Then I went ahead and got some purple power and transmission fluid for later.
