It may be a far fetched idea but have you tried to reflow the solder joints on your main relay? I had a problem with my car starting, and then sometimes when it ran it would run rough, reflowing those solder joints have smoothed out my car a good amount and i dont have a no start issue anymore.

My exhaust is all one piece, no flanges. Header, pipe for O2, cat, resonator, exhaust piping, muffler.
I cut out the resonator, the muffler just pulled right off (the seam around the pipe was completely busted).

Both pieces look like they detonated. Cat seems to be fine.

I have the section of pipe between the resonator and muffler, so it shows all the bends I need.

Its a salvaged title but I'm assuming its been inspected by the state and has been deemed road legal (idk how I mean it can't pass emissions to save its life with a chipped ecu dumping fuel and no egr or cat). As far as a good deal goes- I have 85% of my receipts for aftermarket and mods totaling $5700. Plus the price of the car itself (I paid $3300 for it in 07 but its still worth about that today) and minor bodywork performed (another $500). In other words to replicate this car would cost roughly $9-10k.
Is it Honda Tuning worthy? no. But its a super clean, decently quick, extremely well built car that a person could daily and track.
I'm just worried its gonna get riced out, fucked up, totaled, or all of the above.

Compression is decent across the board. Only a couple of cylinders had a little leak down during the comp test so I am thinking bent valves are present. May just try to replace the valves and the belt and pulleys and see how that does before I replace the entire motor. Just gotta get ahold of another Z6 head to rape the valves from.

You said the leak down was slightly off. How slightly? If you have good compression I doubt you have bent valves. Maybe slightly bent but still a long shot.

Numbers were good in the sense that the readings weren't low enough to replace rings. We did 8 full turnovers for each cylinder and after we stopped each round of tests, maybe two of the cylinders' pressure leaked down a little. I think that may be the valves though.



And I wouldn't drive a BMW if it was given to me....no offense to yours or anything.

Yes, any vehicle needs to be equipped with a muffler of some sort. The decibel limit is 95db.
