The only "Riding" Around my Shitbox has done was coasting down the driveway with a blown trans about 3 months ago. The only way you've seen my Rustang since then was if your hiding in my garage. No man, My shitbox is broke hard. Blew the Stock trans after 2000 miles with the new combo and haven't put it back together yet. Hopefully my new Trans gears will show up next week and I can put it back together. I have a rebuild kit, Ceramic clutch, and a suspension swap all going at once. I'm hoping it will all be together by the end of Sept. If it is I will still have a few weeks of good weather left before it goes down for more modding. And as for the hood, yes I still have the shitty hood from before. :( I gotta worry about the go-fast parts before I worry about the looks.

On top of that I have to get it tuned before I start modding it anymore. I dont even know what he A/F mixture is right now. It feels strong but nowhere near what the combo should be putting out.

Any reason why you don't want to go EFI? Look up EFI Swaps on google. It's extremely easy.

IMO I would stay with EFI if your planning on keeping it stock. Driveability is a huge thing and trying to dial in a carb and keep it there can be a PITA. I have to get mine Dynoed whenever I decide to get the A/F Mix checked. With the EFI you can plug in with a cheap ass laptop and change everything if you buy the correct program ---> Tweecer. Which I planon doing for my next "Mod". I will be dumping the Carb setup and going EFI just for tunability and driveability.

You can get a 5.0L out of the pull-a-part for $190 with everything from pan to intake and all of the sensors and harnesses. If you forego the warranty (which is if its bad you pull another) its $170.

There is a couple around. www.pullapart.com (http://www.pullapart.com) and I believe there is one in fairburn on Hwy 29.

As for the T-5 it is possible to use a 4 cyl trans but If you can find a V8 T5 youd be better off.

After driving my car on the "new" suspension I'm going to have to get taller springs for the front. My Camber is way fucked up. Plus I noticed something was hitting the chassis underneath. I have a feeling its the mufflers hitting my subframe connectors. So a little more work is needed before taking it out on a regular basis. The trans isn't grinding and clutch isnt chattering anymore so at least something is fixed!!!

Guys im at a cross road. I love my civic, but this weekend at tuner fest the response i got taking out a slightly changed legend was just amazing, and made me realize i had something special.

Originally this is what my goal for the legend was:

I went and picked up a civic as a beater and the gas mileage (legend got 19-20 mpg, civic gets 45):

But then i got to thinking and with the money i spent on the hatch, i could make the legend where i really really want it. (auto=>6spd, coilovers, paint roof)
Quick cheezy shop for lowering:

And by putting in a 6spd i can get 28-33 mpg, which i could live with since the car is bigger and more comfortable.
