My car has STRUTS.

I have McPhereson Sensatrac STRUTS from O'reilly's. I bought them and even the reciept says STRUT on it.

Honda doesnt use shocks..

Shocks are seperate from the spring, struts are combined with the coil making them one.

Oh, Suspension is done after 3 days, drilled out bolt, new strut, new air hammer and a bunch of chiseling and ezouts for siezed bolts.

and thanks to my EF for letting me borrow a LCA bolt!

Technically we have shocks, but we use the two words interchangeably...

We'll you shouldn't...control arms are superior in steering geometry. Control arms will always keep the tire/wheels more perpendicular to the road than struts. You ever see some cars turn and the wheels tilt like crazy? Those are struts.

An easy to see if you have shocks or struts (for the untrained eye), if you turn your wheel and your setup turns with the wheel, you have struts. If not, you have control arms.

All Honda's, until recently, are all control arms, alas, shocks. End of story...

Humpries, when you turn the wheel...your "struts" will not turn. You have shocks dude. Monroes suck...return them, go to carquest and get some kybs atleast.

As for meets, my friend with the silver svt focus said he talked to the manager at food depot and he said he didn't mind us hanging out as long as we don't do stupid shit. I'll see if he can get the managers number and some sort of proof that we can hang out there. If not, my mom works at the publix in thomas crossroads and i can see if she can do anything for us.

Yeah, lol, the driver's side wheel is in a drain gulley in that BEFORE pic so it made the rear look REALLY high. It wasn't that bad. Just the best pic I could find right now. It is still a major improvement from stock, though.

Mine was heat soaked and I had extremely poor traction. My best 60ft was a 2.3. My best 1/4 mile time was 14.7 @95. It felt slow out there but like I was saying, it was heat soaked. I'll run the ram air next time with some better (wider) tires. But every time I ran, my trap speed was getting faster and faster.

rattle can paint sucks.. its 1K paint.. no hardener.. poor longevity and gloss.. won't hold up to wear and tear.. definitely won't hold up to brake dust and repeated cleanings over time.. just not a good paint.. haha.. like you said.. the cheap way out

i like it... i've heard it is prone to heat soak though... i got it mainly for my nitrous... nitrous backfires plus composite intake = $$$$$... with the weiand it might just blow out my air lid... which is a lot cheaper and i can still drive it home :goodjob:.. it did add some good power though
