Whomever designed the "quick release steering wheel hub" is on my shit list! I was doing a wideband and boost gauge install in a customers car this afternoon and decided to take of his steering wheel. When it didn't release I decided to try and take a peak behind the wheel at the hub, all the while, still tugging on the wheel itself. The wheel finallly released and slammed into my nose and I began bleeding profusely right away... THe bleeding eventually stopped but my damn nose is killing me...

I was when I first saw that picture. Im actually still in NY. I had already signed the back of the title when I brought it down to GA in the first place. Did all the negotiating over the phone and he came and picked her up this afternoon. It'll be fun looking for and building another toy. I said I didnt want to build another toy but I cant help it......I like playing with cars haha. Maybe try my hand in this 4cylinder game everyone brags about :P

What happened to the Viper idea?
The Elise/Exige is a rock solid car....until you have a minor fender bender (cost of body panels). Regardless of that, I would totally purchase one. LB and I was very close to signing the paperwork on a Candy Red S240 (only one in that color) a couple years ago. The cost of the monthly note was the cost of a mortgage so we came to our senses and walked away. We test drove that car for an hour and a half that day. We also service a beautiful white on red with dry carbon interior S260. They are a blast to drive.

yup. its still on wastegate pressure and will likely stay on wastegate pressure 90% of the time. i plan on tuning it at 22psi and have that as a track map....
its not as laggy as i thought it was going to be so im happy. a few more adjustments and hopefully we'll see 310+ at this boost...

I'm talking full investment, including time and work, not just money. Unless you went into a project with the mindset to flip it or stumbled across a ridiculous deal, it doesn't usually work out that way. Also factor in that a vehicle is constantly depreciating; every day you're losing money.

Its coming along well. Most of the wiring is complete. Down to a Fuel Press Regulator, CAI, and A9L Computer then just some little crap. O2 sensors, Throttle cable, Etc. Etc.

shit.. on street tires that 60' isn't bad. in our cars i cut 1.8s and on a GOOD day high 1.7s. by the looks of it he was having traction issues most of the way down the track to have barely broken into the 11s with a trap speed equivalent to 10s...

Its kind of complicated. Theres actual ATC schools that make you eligible to apply for CTI bids. Then there are public bids(which I did). Then there are military bids. Sometimes they are accepting applications to all 3 types and sometimes not.

Let me chime in on this. The reason I purchased my current POS is the fact that I wanted to eliminate the Evo's car note. This in turn would free up extra expenses that could be redirected towards the purchase of a house, putting a ring on Laurabeth's finger and the wedding that will come after. Yes, the color yellow definitely helped as it's the only color I would buy on a Bugeye. Being that I need to start doing more track events again, if I were to decide I wanted to kiss Turn 1 at RA, I could walk away without having to worry about wrecking a ~$20k car. Common sense in my head.

As the cars become more afordable, more people who are into cars and modifing them buy them and the more you begin to see on the forums and at meets. They're not God's chariot or anything, but performance per dollar is decent (you know this better than most owners) and as a result plenty were sold off dealer lots and many more brand new ones continue to sell off dealer lots today. The reason why the RSX isn't in the current "fad" craze, is nobody really bought them from the get go. There's not enough of them to go around to be quite as popular. Not saying there's no potential or that you NEVER see nice ones, just saying why you don't see them as often. I mean, who wants a FWD integra anyway??? :-P
I keep telling you to get off your ass and build the damn thing like you really want to, but you rather sit there and bitch about how "its the wrong chasis layout," " its not fast, nor will it ever be," or my personal favorite "it would be decent IF I did a K24 Frank'." Just do it and see where you end up when the dust settles. Spray it! Break it! Do something with it!!

For cryin' out loud, you're car is much further advanced than Davis's and he's always going to events, planning things out, trying to be a better driver, trying to formulate the most effecient ways go faster.
