Hey guys, a guy I worked with at Yamaha died sunday in a motorcycle accident. His motorcycle rearended a car in fayetteville. He was thrown from the bike and suffered numerous injuries. He died at the scene. His name was Mark Cook. He was only 25. He was a good kid and although I didn't hang out with him outside of work I did consider him a friend. Keep his family in your prayers. Funeral is tomorrow.

oh yeah and i saw that guy in the m3, he looks pretty young, he pulled up beside me on 85 and acted like he wanted to go, so i dropped down to third at about 60mph and he did the three honks and i missed 4th however, we did it one again and we stayed even and i let off due to the fact a car was on his side and he had no where to go and he wasnt stopping lol so i put on the brakes and he jumped in front, its a nice car pretty fast looks stock though

The hood really screws with people's heads. I never have anyone rev at me until the hood comes off. Then everyone and their brother rev's at it. But even then it's usually when they are going the other way.

That's the point of the sport. To have fun, get the adrenaline rush. If you lose, come back faster. If you win, make your car faster so you don't lose the next time. Never hold grudges cause someone beat you. It's stupid. That's why the scene seems to have died for a little while.

Thanks. Engine-wise no. Cept a crappy intake. Still have an extended warranty on it for a couple more thousand miles. Letting that run out before I touch it to avoid "voiding" it. The smoked markers and tint doesn't count I either I suppose.

I went to the Hogansville Wendy Cruise in last night and it was pretty nice. I was the only "non-V8" pwered car there but it was cool anyways. Next one is the third Saturday of May (also car show in Hogansville this Saturday). More of us should show up and represent.

Now wait a minute, the idea of doing a challenge isn't to take a super clean car (Roxie's 911) and see how well the wax turns out. Your supposed to take a shitbox and see if you can make it look better, therefore I nominate my shitbox.:D Because if you can make that thing look better, you are the shiznit. And of course this has nothing to do with me getting a wax job, it's stricly for testing purposes only!!! :lmfao:
