dont go to the gym on an eat stomach your hurting your self doing that... eat some protein.. peanut butter or drink a protein shake if not your body will eventually breakdown muscle and little fat so its not healthy. if you want to lose weight the right way. Watch what you eat. eat low glycemic proteins cut the carbs after 6:30-7pm and slow cut down calorie each week. if you normally consume 4000 cut it down to 3500 the next week. that about equivelant to 2 big snacks. instead eating chips and what not for snacks eat an apple or banana.
im not saying im the biggest guy or what not but i have lost 12lbs this semester while in school this way.
i was 5'5 155 on jan 1st now im 143lbs. im naturally pretty built so its no alot of fat. but just work out 4 times a week for a hour
goal is burn 2000cal a week = -1lb
