Sleek, I've given up on arguing with you. You, once again, have NOT presented ANY useful statement/information, ALL you've said so far is that you have first hand knowledge (with complete disregard to WHAT it is that you know) and thrown out insults at everyone that has (respectfully under the circumstances) disagreed with you... again, I don't know what grade level you're reading at, but your ability to read and comprehend isn't on par with the average 22 year old, so allow me to make an analogy that, hopefully, even you can understand:
    You: Eating apples is BAD!
Me: I don't think that's correct, how can you make such a broad statement?
You: OMG YOU NOOB I HAVE EXPERIENCE!
Me: I see people eat apples all the time, they're fine... unless you're talking about eating rotten apples...what was your experience?
You: OMG YOU RETARDS APPLES ARE BAD! I TELL YOU I HAVE EXPERIENCE!

Get it? You haven't really made ONE compelling argument for your case, the only argument you've made for the fact that coilovers are bad is that because you have experience driving in SCCA, so what was your experience with coilovers? Since you run Neuspeed springs and a damper kit, I don't see how you can attest to the fact that ALL coilovers are bad since you currently do not use a set? Have you personally tested all? Have you and your circle of friends (probably a pretty pathetic one at that) personally tested all coilovers? Do you think your small little world of racing is representative of the rest of the world? Maybe it's time for you to take your provincial views and stick them up your ass and enroll in some English classes.

edit: end of argument from me, kind of hard when I'm arguing with facts and information, and the other side is arguing with insults, people can read and form their opinions.

who's embarrassed? you make yourself look more stupid every time you post. formula 1 cars have adjustable ride height just like i said, and nascars also run road courses. you must be about 12 to steriotype people like you do. Also, I'm from New York and I'm about as far away from a red neck as you can get.

    Sleek-CRX-Si,

A couple of questions for you, sir. First, I'm curious as to what what class and/or type of SCCA racing you do, so could you please expand on your 4-year's worth of experience/involvement a little? Second, 117 mph entrance speed would be impressive, are you sure that's how fast you were actually going? I am quite familiar with the "clover leaf" at the Mall of GA so I'd just like to make sure you really meant to type 117. Third, was your "call out" for a race ever answered?

...i recall no "callouts" for races or anything other than a "ride height contest" at which i was laughing at for ten minutes.

Sleek-CRX-Si, what size wheels and tires are you running? If you take your car out on the track as you say you do, they had better be pretty small in order to keep clear of the fenders during these 117mph turns you're performing on a regular basis.

It's a procedure we call rolling your fenders. Not sure if you ever heard of it but I'm pretty sure if you ask around someone may take the time to explain this simple term.

    you need jesus

I am familiar with body work terminology and the work it entails, rolling your fenders is NOT a common practice in the racing world.

As you said, actions are louder than words, you need to prove to everyone here that you are actually qualified to compete in a ProRacing event hosted by the SCCA!

edit* SOLO2 events are autocross events... where do you hold such high speeds through turns? In all my years of driving autocross, 115mph through a turn would be considered dangerous.

Otherwise, your comments, essays on how you know so much, and insults are considered are null and void, I'm afraid there are more people on here who know what their talking about than you realize.

if actions speak louder than words like YOU SAID ^^^^^^ put your money/title where your mouth is. Big shot! RACE RACE RACE RACE RACE RACE RACE RACE RACE! come on! do it! race race race! talk all the shit you guys want but only talkers talk shit. so I'm excluding myself from this conversation and telling everyone else that hatch 77 bitched out of a race he was so eager to do at the beggining of our disscusion. After sevral attemps to get you to race since you where talkin all this ying yang about 1/4 race an everything you just prove to me I'm wasting my time with you hatch 77. So let evryone read the past comment you renigged on and come up with their own conclusions of how much of a talker you really are! HOLLA AT CHA BOY!!!!!!

You telling me actions speak louder than words? Everyone will see how qualified I am when your pullin up last an dissapointed at the finishline and oh yeah the track is not a body shop so as for rolling my fenders it happens all the time "Pretty boy whos all talk/show and no go".

P.S. Don't talk shit b/c somebody might just take you up on your word!!

as for my 4 years of ex I have raced in the STS2 (street touring solo 2) it's been pretty fun I enjoy it but just like everyone there are certain days that I don't feel up to it. oh yeah and 117mph onthe onramp of the mall of ga is correct. I know that sounds rediculous but I can see if I can get a hold of my friend that went off to the military he can vouch. It was pretty crazy my friend almost shit his pants. us and a black hatch were racing toward the mall and as we went under the bridge there was a speacial opps cop sitting there as we flew by. My notion was to run because I did not want to go to jail so I hit the on ramp and got on the highway. I got off at the next exit which is swannee I think and took a right and parked at the wal-mart and had a friend to pick me up.

I'm not exactly trying to call you out or anything, as I do believe that you probably have autocrossed, but I thought that you would like to know that the the class you say you run in, and I quote, "STS2 (street touring solo 2)", has only been an actual class since the spring of 2004. I believe that STS2, which, by the way, stands for Street Touring Sport-2, where the "2" stands for 2-seater, is an expansion of STS because of the large weight difference between 2 and 4 seaters. Also, I do not believe that you have ever exceeded 100 mph at any Atlanta Region Solo2 event with the possible exception of the events at "Little Talledega". Lastly, one of my many reasons for doubting your claims is due to the fact that your "call out" for a race was for a 1/4 mile race where as most, and I suppose there are exceptions, SCCA members/drivers would first make a challenge on a road and/or autocross course, then possibly a winding road, such as the mountains or similar road, and then, as a last resort, a straight line drag race.
