Today I gave my car it's first ever wax, it really helped bring the shine out in the paint, it was completely flat before. I think until I can clay bar it and do a few more coats of wax it will do just fine. Also, if the guy doesn't flake out tomorrow I'm getting my second one. I'll post up if I get ahold of it.

Ben is right, clay bars and waxes can only do so much. Buffing will strip away the top oxidized layer and bring the paint back to life.

Nah, there is a wagon at each, both are similar colors, they're either both bronze or one is bronze and one is gold. I know the Northside one has gray doors on it. I took some parts off of the Northside one as well. Whenever a wagon person finds one in a junkyard we typically post it in the cars for sale section so people can get hooked up on parts.

Nonetheless, I got a 2006 Ford Mustang GT. It's the 4.6L V8 on a 5spd with Ford racing exhaust, the shelby 17's, cold air intake, and some other goodies that I have yet to fully discover. She runs high 13's (if driven well) and she's very excited on the rear end when I want her to be. Black leather interior, charcoal silver on the outside. The paint appears to be more blue/purple in the pictures than she really is...

Well, I would, but this thing hit my pocket hard. Borla makes a great sound, though. If it didn't already have ford racing under the rear, I'd probably take it. She's VERY clean at only 16K miles. I did find a front "tap" that carfax never picked up, though. The wheels match PERFECTLY...they actually were an option for the car, I believe, so the previous owner clearly agreed. I've thought about what other rims I could put on her...and I just can't see changing them.

Thanks to the props, and for those with thumbs pointing downward...eh, mustangs aren't EVERYONE's thing, and I fully respect that. At the same time, I kinda wanted to "blend in" with the crowd for a little while. Mustang or a stock civic were the way to go for that, LoL. I hope to one day come back to the EF Squad with a...it'll probably be another hatch. Just for old time's sake, but it will be trailered most everywhere and for race-only, pretty much. Just a second toy. SCCA and such. I still hope to stick as close as the military will allow with the EF Squad. I'd love to see the crew grow, and be as much a part of it as I was before, though...from a different angle, for the time being.

My ego, I believe, will stay fairly in check. Straight up, I hate mustang owners because of their egos. I don't plan to jump on board with any "mustang clubs" around here ANY time soon...so don't worry.

I guess Jay has never used a Valentine One. I get significantly advanced radar warnings with mine, and with a little bit of practice you learn to pick out the real threats from the false alarms.

Laser warnings aren't that great, but without a jammer it's nearly impossible to avoid a laser trap or get warned about it. Like with any detector, when the laser warning goes off that means you need to pull to the shoulder because you're already ****ed.

Be sure to check all your wiring carefully. That could have taken out more than just the battery. Check alternator, starter, etc.

Well, got my new bumper with no hole put on and I also got my corner lights painted full amber. Also cleaned up my second wagon a bit, took the front seats and lower console piece out and vacuumed and washed it. Also changed the wheels out for some nicer steel wheels.
