Good/Bad news...we have a new theory why she doesn't wanna pass. Vacuum lines were done wrong (by me...yes, I take credit for messing them up) and so the MAP sensor was run to the wrong port, etc. We did the best we could to run it correctly today, and we THINK we got it. It now revvs DOWN smoother and doesn't try to shut off, and it's alot more responsive, and the fuel rail pressure is starting to manage itself...

Slowly but surely..just a matter of time, right?

Got a question.. when i am driving and i turn my car off after 5+ min of driving. It sounds like its running on 3 cyl, and then it evens out. But it smells sweet, the exhuast that is.. and it blows out smoke, but not blue or black, i belive its more like steam. Is my headgasket gone? btw its a d15b1 DualPoint :(

I'll take a theory-shot at this... Have you done a compression test? It's possible your headgasket is leaking and when it warms up it seals properly. Can you give us anymore symptoms? And are you sure it's steam and not white smoke?

Oh...and by the way, when you turn your car off it should sound like it's not running on any cylinders. :lmfao:

Uh...you've probably got a 1/2inch of clearance to the outer part of the rim. The only thing you'd need to be concerned about is the spoke, or front side of the rim. Like I said, I can get them off and we can give it a trial-go if you're interested.

I'm on my way with to Missouri tomorrow. I received a call this morning from my mother saying that they had to rush my father to the ER. He just had surgery and had a reaction to the medicine he was on. It caused his throat to swell restricting his airflow. So he's in the hospital now. What make things even worst is my mother just had an emergency operation just after she had surgery. So she's not 100% from that yet. Luckily, I'm on spring break next week and I'm skipping the rest of this week.

Really for the past month or so, I been worried and stress like hell, but I have the ability to keep it from showing. Thank god, I have caring friends and my EF to keep me from losing my mind. So keep my family in your blessing people!

Update on me...I gave up on the EF project. I turned it over to Alan Cox Automotive in Kennesaw, yesterday. I've done everything, and so has my dad. We're out of ideas. Hopefully AC has an idea... I'm hoping it's done for me to come home to next friday. If it is, I have to VERY QUICKLY get to firestone and get my alignment and new tires in hopes to make the deals gap run next weekend. If I go, I'll be departing atlanta around midnight friday night because I'm going to the Chris Cagle concert at Cowboys in Kennesaw.

I have a bad front driver side caliper (only applies pressure on one side) and a brake fluid leak coming from my rear passenger side drum. Kinda sucks. Well my front calipers are different from my other crx's. My calipers are not removable from the bracket (it only swivels), so to remove my caliper, I have to remove my bracket too, while my other crxs have 2 piece calipers.

Son, you still have alot to learn. A "built" motor has nothing to do with being fast or making power, it only allows the motor to handle more power. My "built" motor only puts out 174 WHP, a stock bottom end B16 is capable of putting down the same also am I right?

And what is the LS/VTEC + ?? Shot for .. I have never ran this nitrous setup at the track so there are no times yet home-slice. And I hope you're not comparing my DD CRX to your boys CRX that runs 13s because they are setup for drag more than I am (weight reduction, DRs, traction bars..?).

Ok I'm done for now, I'll just wait till BigD brings it to the track . . and IF I lose we'll take it to the HWY where I know I won't lose N/A vs. N/A!

As for my homie, correction he's not a REX driver, but an hatch driver. Yeah he it not his DD (he has a D-series DC for that and yeah I said D :???: ), but his hatch could be. Only thing special done is it's gutted (no traction bars or anything else). Shit his car never been tuned and he's running obd0 on a stock ecu. Wild isnt it. I couldnt believe it myself until I saw it in action. He drives the shit out of his car.

As for you and me, I'll doubt I'll be tuned by the Import Showdown (this emergency trip set a brother back plus I'm missing 2 weeks of work :cry: ) and I wasn't even planning on going after my setback, but if you wanna go at it REX 2 REX we can do that. Son, you still have alot to learn. A "built" motor has nothing to do with being fast or making power, it only allows the motor to handle more power. My "built" motor only puts out 174 WHP, a stock bottom end B16 is capable of putting down the same also am I right?

And what is the LS/VTEC + ?? Shot for .. I have never ran this nitrous setup at the track so there are no times yet home-slice. And I hope you're not comparing my DD CRX to your boys CRX that runs 13s because they are setup for drag more than I am (weight reduction, DRs, traction bars..?).

Ok I'm done for now, I'll just wait till BigD brings it to the track . . and IF I lose we'll take it to the HWY where I know I won't lose N/A vs. N/A!

When I get my new hood in I'm not going to install the emblem on it and I was thinking about painting the grill(AKA chicken wire) black also.

The wheels are 17"s and the car is lowered 2" I beleve.

Plans for the crx are paint it the tangerine metallic that comes on the Honda eliment with carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber hatch and maybe carbon fiber sunroof.(going to try laying carbon fiber in a freinds fiberglass shop in a few weeks and if it works out I will overlay the sunroof)

However, they did find that cyl 4 was running cooler than the other 3 which is a sign of an injector going bad. We're replacing the injector and seeing what happens. These people complimented my work, though. Apparently they spent alot of time going through the car looking at other stuff while waiting for my parts to arrive...LoL
