Well the newest EDs are 18 yrs old now, the 88s being 21... they are bound to have problems LOL. Plus its not like they are expensive cars either.. Well the newest EDs are 18 yrs old now, the 88s being 21... they are bound to have problems LOL. Plus its not like they are expensive cars either.. But i do think they hold together much better than most cars of their generation. I guess ive pretty much replaced everything in my car so thats why i dont really have problems LOL.

lol we did it last night, so we changed out his wiring harness and then confirmed that no check engine light would cut on by plugging in a p28. No codes popped up and he was able to rev pass 3K (after we let vehicle warm up), but he told me that he popped open his ECU like 3 days earlier, once I left his house and his p30 ECU fried, that's the reason of why it's throwing all those codes, but the BRB family came through and we're getting him a p28 on sunday. :goodjob:

We drop from 50 and I pull - shift to 3rd and pull, then he pulls hard around me. Wasn't a salughter, but he kept increasing the distance. 2nd run from 60, we drop and he got squirelly close to the wall so we shut down. he made a "wavy hand" signal to let me know that he got loose but I saw it already and waited for the retry. We drop from 60, this was a better run b/c we were neck and neck, one I hit 4th though he found some power and pulled a way again.

- peanut butter top (non-hardtop)
- some kinda kit (possibly oem) w/ what looked like molded-on fogs in the front (yellow)
- black guy driving
- possibly a small skull/crossbones sticker on the truck lid

I've thought about pulling and old 60's stang from a salvage yard or something and resurrecting it to look like my car. But my assumption is by the time it'd be done, I'd be looking to sell my current stang, already... The projects I'm looking at I could see EASILY taking 5-10 years...
