Do you believe in God? Simple question

I dont believe in God for a few reasons. In MY life there hasnt been backing for it. I've worked since I was 14, and have been rewarded for such. I've been in accidents that "could have been fatal" but weren't because I was wearing my seatbelt and know what to do to brace for an accident. I dont believe this was "God", just circumstance. 99.9% of what goes on can be explained scientifically/genetically/etc. That other .1% isnt enough for me to believe in God.

Not to mention so much of Christian theories/reasoning has been disproven, and from my experience Christians are some of the most judgemental people on the planet. "Come to our Religion; it is the best, but if you dont believe in it, fuck you" Not to mention the condescending views on Homosexuality is the most idiotic "view" I've ever seen.

Yeah, not my style.

I do believe in Karma, however. BOOM. MIND BLOWN.

I'm fine with it - really. If that's a magical guy on a throne - so be it. If that's "streets of gold" kool. The funny thing is - that gold is not even the hot ticket anymore. LOL. I think the phonies that wrote the bible weren't thinking long term - they weren't thinking that in a few thousand years there'd be materials MUCH better and rare than gold. Woops. The notion that a God capable of everything that society gives him credit for will create MILLIONS of his "best" creation for the sole purpose of being worshipped by those creations is a God with a SERIOUS ego problem. And thats what i've been sayin, I didnt post to try to convince anyone to believe in god and come to a church and all. that's not true at all. You can say he doesnt exist without condemning those who follow his teachings. Those arent even remotely connected, and that's blindly generalizing an entire group of people...On the other hand, however. It seems CHRISTIANS are the ones saying "I'll be damned to an eternity in hell" if I dont follow God. Dont remember the last time I was persuaded AGAINST God...seems one group is more open minded than the other, more relaxed, and more forgiving.

And what a person feels or believes is hardly ignorance, as you cannot control it.

I have not met God yet cause I am not yet worthy. You don't just meet God you must be blessed and approved by god to meet him.
If you try you can actually meet Satan for he visits many of his worshipers. Maybe you are one of those who must be lost before you are found.

The comparison was a example of how soft and easy the human mind can be influenced. I feel God and his son our savior Jesus Christ in my heart and veins everyday. I once had some doubt but he showed me why I should not stray but to open my eyes even more.

Ah, but yearly we got evidence that he was real in the form of presents, etc.

Not to mention we were children and unable to think logically and for ourselves at that point. However, once I became older I grew privy to the concept that he was not real, and I accepted it. Exact same situation with God.

The reason I dont believe the texts/teachings is the plethora of loopholes, for something that claims to be "the teachings direct", its flawed.
