if the bible tells you that sunday is the day of the lord and that you should go to church and celebrate him every week yet you only go twice a year for what i presumably am guessing is easter and christmas.

then... what is the point?

it all seems rather contradictary what you say.

i don't believe that the stuff actually happened but i believe in the power of the things said in the bible, theres a difference there. and yet i go every week... i don't understand what you're saying

you can believe in a higher power w/o saying you are CHRISTIAN... its like, i believe some of the doctrine of the muslim faith but i'm not a muslim

because i believe the most in what christianity has to offer so i align myself with them for the comfort of belong to a group.

if everyone had the mindset that you are suggesting then we would all have our own religion because no one thinks the exact same way whether they like to acknowledge that or not.

its just like political parties, i dont fully believe in what republicans say yet i associate with them because otherwise nothing would get done if everyone wanted to make their own party

I have read in the bible, and always believed that church is where the heart is...You can sit at home, and praise the lord, and read the bible at home...

A church doesnt have to be 4 walls with a roof as well...
