Many bishops, arch-bishops, w/e are beyond corrupt. I think if you will look back into history you will find this has been true for a long time. Once again I have nothing against those who truly follow the religion, but some of the higher-ups are horrible.

if you believe in the bible then you would believe that it was written by god through man... i'm not christian i believe it is a church creation to create fear and submission
