Keep your head up, though, it'll all be worth it in the end.

LOL, I know I was setting myself up. I'm pretty sure you heard those Tech horror stories. Tech is demanding that people at MIT feel sorry for us

I did pretty much a similar thing last spring with my schedule. I took 18 hours and it, uh, didn't work out so well.

I realize that Clemson's engineering program isn't as rigorous as Tech's, but I was in a similar position last spring. For me, since I had been out of school for so long, and I'm not really that great of student to begin with, my time here has been pretty tough. As an example of the kind of student I can be, in high school I was one of those a-holes that did very little and graduated with a 3.0. At UGA, I didn't really apply myself and made it out with a 2.3.

Last semester got rough for me. I got to a point where I was really questioning just what the hell I was thinking when I decided that getting an engineering degree was a good idea.

The job I had, which was a crappy part-time deal at a hobby shop, dried up. The owner cut my hours down to pretty much nothing. I'm an independent student as well, and while my parents would like to help me out more, they aren't in a position to really do much to help my financial situation. So, I really need to work. So, stress upon stress...

My attitude is a lot better now. Things will work out.

The thing about life is that we really learn the most going through the really hard stuff. Keep your head up and don't let the circumstance get you too down.
