You propose that BHM be eliminated, but that is irresponsible when the current K-12 curriculum creates a distorted view of American history. How hard is that to understand?

You're asking the wrong person. Part of my learning process came from my parents. During my undergrad years I took filler history classes and researched as much as I could.

BHM is a necessary evil to force-feed Americans. Is it fair to other minority groups? Of course not. Just remember the post I made about the median income based on race. Hope it all makes sense.

if we had to make a month for every ethnic group, there would not be enough months in the year so its always gonna be unfair.

and secondly, i'm in AP US History right now and we're actually learning right now about immigration to the United States from East And Southern Europe in the late 19th Century and about failed African American movements by Debois and Washington

i'm not at FSU, i am deciding between going there and other schools for next year at college.

i'm a senior in high school.
if you wouldn't make generalizations by stalking me on other posts then you wouldn't need to assume that from what little you do know

point being in a high school class i am learning about exactly what someone earlier was griping about kids didn't know, meaning we needed a black history month to educate people.
