If I were to build a car for the 1/4 mile it would most likely have a V8 LSX based motor BUT like stated above my comment was just for the streets, where I can care less how much power my cars has and rather the MPG's it gets.
The street is just a bunch of 1/4's all strung together! V8 powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
