I like how you faggots use gas mileage as an argument that 4 cylinders are better. Let's just fucking drive go karts and ride Vespas, those are way tighter than anything with a v8. Baller mileage yo.

Agreed, the MPG argument is dumb...
And somehow the V8 nut-swinging, jizz gargling, turd burglars have manged to make this a debate about only being faster in a straight line for 1/8 or a 1/4 mile.
A fact which is only exceeded in sheer stupidity that the much more dumber Honda guys would argue that. (yes, I did "much more dumber" on purpose)
But because I'm sure somebody, somewhere has a fully built Mustang race car and used exotic metals, like Aluminum instead of the standard 3 inch thick steel (yes Aluminum is an exotic metal to V8 guys, not as exotic as BILLET though... BILLET, man) on the hood/doors/roof/trunk to make it lighter, with some modified knuckles so you can actually turn the steering wheel to the left AND the right, and forced that pig to go around a racetrack against it's will, and posted a Youtube video of it... That one singular video will be posted here as proof that ALL V8 musclecars handle like a Lotus Extige on R compound tires.

Sweet front brake lock bro. On the upside he must have upgraded from the factory rear drums.
Bad Penny Camaro...
" 'Bad Penny' is a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro with an LS2 engine, six speed box with 580bhp."
"The craftsmanship on this vehicle is just stunning. Other modifications include a Corvette C5 suspension, new braking system and, of course, Forgeline wheels. In fact there isn't much left that is standard."

Actually, there are several series that Mustangs run in. And there are a variety of suppliers that offer track suspension. One of the more well-known ones is MM. They offer a good package for just about any year Mustang.

Corvettes seem to do pretty well - better than Civic, S2Ks, etc. They are V8.
Camaros have suppliers that give them good upgrades as well, and are used in quite a few race series.
GTOs are Holdens. Have you watched any V8 Supercar races?

I've never heard of them, so they aren't that well known... But it is further proof that Google can truly find anything.
So if you had to drive an '85 Corvette or a '85 Civic, both with 200,000 miles on the clock, to San Fransisco tonight with zero breakdowns because your life depended on it... Which would you choose?
Really?
Like WRC? Uh... No.
Never saw a Camaro in a JSB race either.
SCCA Spec Miata class.... Just checked, no Camaros
This just in... No Camaros in F1 either.
Monster Truck Racing? Nope.
Gotta be one in NASCAR, those fuckers all love V8's.... Zip zilch zero nada
Indycar? No
Formula Ford series? Shocking... No Camaro.
I think I'm starting to see a pattern.
Indeed I have. And GTO's are not Holdens, GTO's are like Holdens but have a pussy-ass suspension installed because God-forbid some dumb redneck experiences any G-force while cornering.
Which is why every American car comes from the factory with a bench seat standard.
These facts are indisputible.

Actually, a friend of mine has their stuff on his racecar, and I'va actually had it out on the track. They also advertise in a lot of mazagines, so I didn't need Google. You do realize that there are a lot of race series out there for Mustangs, right?
Neither, I would buy a plane ticket. In the hypothetical event that all planes were grounded, a train ticket would be next. If no trains, I'd drive one of the multiple cars that I own - and it wouldn't be my V8 Mustang - that car has left me stranded before AND it eats too much gas. :-) I know you like that answer.
Grand-Am
I've bene able to take the GTO around corners decently. It's not the best handling car, but I don't have the understeer that I get from FWD econoboxes.
Really? I can dispute it quite easily - look at the options for American cars - you won't find bench seat for Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, etc. You might find them for some old luxury cars, but even those are not common.
Seems like the last American car you were in was probably built in the 60s or 70s.

Oh yeah, don't hate on the V8! Here's your monster truck Camaro -
Go to 1:40 mark for a ridiculous waste of time.

				They've changed?
Live axles?... Still there
Thirsty, Asthmatic engines... Still there
Modern Styling?... Nope, in fact they've gone backwards because they couldn't think of any new shit.
The bench seat I already told you was indisputable, so why dispute it?
Ugly interiors that were made by bean counters and not designers... Check
Ditto for the cheap interior switches and handles made in China by child slave labor and painted with Mercury based paint... Yep
Here are the facts. Fact: Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Kia, Mercedes, BMW and others are made in America.
Fact: Ford cars are made in Mexico and half of the cars built contain illegal aliens stashed in the trunk when they ship them across the border.
Fact: GM (owned by our government) just announced their next plant will be made in Mexico as well. Because if you're going to build a crappy car, you might as well do it cheap.
Fact: Honda does not give their workers Meth on their lunch break like American car companies do.
Fact: I just farted
Fact: The metric system is just better.
Fact: The Mustang is a pony car... Not a Muscle car. It was built for secretaries to drive.
Fact: The movie Transformers wasn't really that good at all, but Micheal Bay directed it so it had lots of shit blow up. Which always solves gaping holes in a plot.

I just wanted to state. You said earlier were comparing 4 cyl and v8 in 1/4 and duh v8's going to win.... But you just compared 1960's and 70's to a lotus.... In handling. Duh it pretty easy to know who will win that. Shit I got a 68 chevelle with stock suspension my grandmas new civic handles better then it. But les me upgrade the sway bars full qa1 suspension on it shave some weight on the car. Maybe some 275's in the front with some 315's in the rear and I bet it will hand with your lotus. There many muscle cars out there now days that will destroy a lotus

Also the bench seat did not come in every muscle car. If it was a standard shift 3/4 time it was bucket. Automatic almost 90% were bench seat learn fact before u say it's a fact.

Yeah sorry echo ill have to agree with them on this owned and grew up with plenty of muscle cars and classics that had bucket seats for base model option.
Most recent was my bros 69 Firebird we just sold, it had nice buckets from factory and held up well for their age.

Actually, even if you take a fairly light foxbody and put a full MM grip package on it, if you get to a really tight, twisty track, most of the Lotus cars will have the advantage still. They are not only handle extremely well, they are also light, which helps with corner speeds. Small tracks can neutralize the power advantage of the V8, with its heavy front end. The Lotus handling can make it difficult to pass if it has a good driver. On larger tracks though, you can take advantage of the long straights with a V8.

I can't believe you guys are taking the bench seat comment seriously... Lulz.
Sarcasm. Learn it.
