    The correct term is filing for a lost title. What that really means is that you bought a car, with an unknown owner.

    You usually can do it through insurance agencies or even bailbonds people will do it. You fill out a form, get it notorazed then have a cop inspect the car.

    They then issue you a perfectly legal title.

    It can take as along as 2-4 weeks to do it

    im not saying your wrong but i never believe people when they say how long it takes for that kind of stuff. This lady was doing the stuff so i could get the title to my car and she told me it would take 30-60 days and she was like "it never takes 60 days". fu*k that bit*h cuz it took 90 damn days.
