I don't see what's wrong with pointing out scratches and screwed up wheels when the car was advertised as perfect.Originally Posted by Brandon C

thats a great point.. and brandon has to look at it from two ways.. 1st the dealers way.. we sell cars for as much as we think they are worth and push out price or close to our "close out" that we want to come out on top on the back end to make our moneyOriginally Posted by cgEvan
Now with that said the customer pointing out scratches we dont care as a salesmen, we have instilled in our minds what we want to sell this car for and thats final
but when we take a trade in.. we dont give the customer what they want for there trade.. we noticed every little ding scratch and flaw on the "walk around" when we appraise the vehicle dropping the price as we go around the car and do a Visual inspection. * note all dealerships do this dirt lot or "big wig" dealerships" before they give you an actual price.
so if a customer has a trade in a wants 8k firm for the trade in because they owe 7k and want to make 1k off of it. Should the dealer blow up and call the customer a cheat infront of his family and friends?
if a dealer has a car for sale for 15.9k and was offered 14.9k for it should the dealer get insulted and go off on the custmer for giving him a price.
there is no law stating a man can not come on to property public nor private that is considered an establishment trade, saying they can not haggle pricing for furniture, food, or in this case vehicles. both sides seem to be wrong but Rons side seems to be by far the worst..

I am sorry I am tired and really would have not had to see this today after the day I had. I say win the argument Lose the sale never works for anybody customer of Dealership.

I think that Video is very amusing as it looks to me as Ron is fustrated to hell and Back with an Angry Kid that would not leave his property. I could be wrong..Oh and it is against the law for them to post up that Video of Ron without consent he could sue them for Slander amongst other things..That is why Ron is not posting up the Whole Video I am Sure.

And to ANwser the Finance Question was probably not as he Had wasted my time on many a car when I worked there but Ron Still let him drive a car everytime he came and claimed to be ready. Like I said this was deeper than just 1 day
I used to be a dealer and a floor manager for a major dealership in columbia, Pulliam Ford before i moved here. Basically talking as if I were still selling cars to let people know I was once in this position as a saleman dizzle.Originally Posted by quickdodge®
