Ron agreed to the terms initially (per the post) --- or there would be no contract being presented. THEN he starts to "barter" and try to get a diff amount on the contract. Typical salesman sh*t if u ask me --> he agreed to the price to get the kid in there, and then wanted to hustle him to get what's on the sticker. It's a f*cking CAR --- who pays what's on the sticker? Ron buys cars WHOLESALE --- or through many other dealership tricks to get cars (auction, consignment, repo, etc.) every1 knows that, and guarantee you that he is not into that car for 15,900 or anywhere close. A REAL salesman would have said "well I can fix the taillight for you, and get a professional buff on the car" ($250 light, $50 buff) and still be in the clear... or offer 10 oil changes ($200)... ANYTHING other than piss a customer off and let him leave the lot --- ESPECIALLY one that was there to sign on the line. Who cares if "joe schmo" has a bad rep, he's not selling cars. As the business u need to be professional and at all times. If 14,9 wasn't acceptible then he shouldn't have called the kid back into the shop. All I gotta say is call the BBB.
Agreed if Ron knew how to access the thread he would. Also He has stated he will gladly post the whole Video for the 8 Different camers but due to Privacy Laws he can not.
Oh Yeah Dracc. The Other Customers Bought a Car also The Kids Mom saw the whole thing for the passenger seat of his car. What Ron has said is the video taken was shot after He was Bated and Bagered for some time and what I saw was Dean who was on the Phone with the Police in the Background. Oh Well Anither Day in Gwinnett
Guys I am Going to bed I dont work from Ron but I did. In the End it really doesnt matter because no 2 transactions are ever the same. Why either person feels the need to talk trash at this point is beyond me. I almost never post here anymore due to I am very Busy, But I will leave on this Note I will Pray tonight for Ron and This Kid to find some peace in there heart.
LMFAO AT RANDOM GUY!!!!
And sorry but the first post would NOT prevent me from buying from the guy. No offense but so many people try to get attention here or would START SOME CRAP, just to be able to COME HERE to make a story of it.
I need both sides to the story, though its really a lose/lose for Ron as a business CANNOT win on the internet. No way.

And Carmax does not negotiate prises but there ok right?
yea but carmax advertizes the fact that they wont change the price
the only thing i see wrong from my view being in the car buisness before is the fact RON marked the car up 1k from the buying price... Most dealers and even when i bought cars for pulliam ford.. a dealers main goal is to make money. 1k with his own lot and employees is not enough to pay everyone. Now my thing is did Ron actually mark it up 1k or have plans to sell it for 15.9 and with GA tax and tags be out the door with 16.7.. or is he just realy trying to pass on the deals like a so called " wholesale car lot"

http://www.carmax.com/dyn/factsheet/...eet.aspx?KNo=4
Carmax:
2005 Acura RSX Type S w/ 42 K for $18,147
Yeah Ron's really trying to rip people off..
A year newer but more mile still $2152 below Car Max on the same Car...
Sorry not trying to argue just really hate Carmax..
Also:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...sfyc=&systime=
7 Type S models in 100 Miles and Ron's was the cheapest....
He was not wrong for saying no in my book. Come on Scratches and Curb Rash...Thats just excuse's to me. Where Did the offer come from because to Me in which I do work for another dealer, Ron is priced the best in town.
Lets turn this converstation into what should a car dealer do to better not have these types of problems, besides just give everything away?
yeah, if you can give 30% of his personal income, then you aren't struggling.
I don't see what's wrong with pointing out scratches and screwed up wheels when the car was advertised as perfect.Quote:

I want to call you names and belittle your integrity will you still be cheerfull to me. Do you build your buisness from nothing to have a 21 year old kid call you a thief? I wish we could see all sides maybe the kid believe he was being ripped off but that is no way to act. I agree Ron Should not have raised his voice and yelled back but He was heated and very disrespected. I have had Customer Scream at me before it is tough. I have seen owners of MAJOR dealerships get in Fist fights with people. It Happens. BUt really man you just are bashing now, the mans Family life is probably better than most of ours.

so if a customer has a trade in a wants 8k firm for the trade in because they owe 7k and want to make 1k off of it. Should the dealer blow up and call the customer a cheat infront of his family and friends?
if a dealer has a car for sale for 15.9k and was offered 14.9k for it should the dealer get insulted and go off on the custmer for giving him a price.
there is no law stating a man can not come on to property public nor private that is considered an establishment trade, saying they can not haggle pricing for furniture, food, or in this case vehicles. both sides seem to be wrong but Rons side seems to be by far the worst..

I am sorry I am tired and really would have not had to see this today after the day I had. I say win the argument Lose the sale never works for anybody customer of Dealership.
You keep saying "we." Who is "we?" Later, QD.Quote:

He called me a ****er and proceeded to tell my GM that I hassled him to come to the dealership told him I could get the truck for him for his price and that I promised him a full tank of gas for the 2 hour drive he endured. Mind you that day was the first time I ever spoke with that man. I've been called alot of things at some of the jobs I've had but that does not mean blow up and have an altercation with someone over it. Even if Ron blew off steam in this he still has to come back to HIS building with HIS name on it with HIS employees there and coop with the actions that have taken place over a price that probably could have been talked through to both parties satisfaction. Ron is still a great guy in my book but his name will be forever tainted in the realm of import atlanta, no matter how old this thread gets, there is always a Search button

I used to be a dealer and a floor manager for a major dealership in columbia, Pulliam Ford before i moved here. Basically talking as if I were still selling cars to let people know I was once in this position as a saleman dizzle.Quote:

No matter how good a deal is customers always want something better. Could it be handled better yes but I can tell you that if someone was yelling at other customers on my lot I woul probably had the arested for there behavior but Ron is old school why call the cops that is what Little Boys do as in this case. But no seriously I agree with you there are a hats that look for cars and act this way. The problem is our society does not respect each other!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the OP, did you have cash to buy the car if he dropped the price? Were you GOING to buy this car? Did you have financing in place? Or were you going to waste even MORE time trying to get financed with 0 down and awful credit?
RICK CASE FTW LOL

I could be wrong..Oh and it is against the law for them to post up that Video of Ron without consent he could sue them for Slander amongst other things..That is why Ron is not posting up the Whole Video I am Sure.

I believe that Ron's Price is very Fare as it is Listed below Market Value. People offer less not because it's for a reasonable Price a reasonable price is around Market Value. They offer less because they Believe that they should. Let me ask this if The Price listed was $14,995 which is insanely low for that car would you pay it or ask for a discount???
I would ask for a discount, then put up my guard and wait for Ron's attack.Quote:
