Now with that said the customer pointing out scratches we dont care as a salesmen, we have instilled in our minds what we want to sell this car for and thats final

but when we take a trade in.. we dont give the customer what they want for there trade.. we noticed every little ding scratch and flaw on the "walk around" when we appraise the vehicle dropping the price as we go around the car and do a Visual inspection. * note all dealerships do this dirt lot or "big wig" dealerships" before they give you an actual price.

so if a customer has a trade in a wants 8k firm for the trade in because they owe 7k and want to make 1k off of it. Should the dealer blow up and call the customer a cheat infront of his family and friends?

if a dealer has a car for sale for 15.9k and was offered 14.9k for it should the dealer get insulted and go off on the custmer for giving him a price.

there is no law stating a man can not come on to property public nor private that is considered an establishment trade, saying they can not haggle pricing for furniture, food, or in this case vehicles. both sides seem to be wrong but Rons side seems to be by far the worst..

I am Confused! I agreed with you up to that point. Are you saying Ron was in the wrong for telling the Guy to leave or getting upset or was the kid in the wrong. We really dont know the entire story here. I jumped early on the Kid but I can tell you that Ron generaly does not get upset enough to act like he described and I have Pissed him off plenty in my life. I am sorry I am tired and really would have not had to see this today after the day I had. I say win the argument Lose the sale never works for anybody customer of Dealership.
