I disagree there. I've felt that there was more racial tension the farther north I go. While up north were you have less minorities they still collide.
yea and the jena 6 story is proof we gotten used to each other in the southI think here in the South you can say that we have gotten use to each other![]()
The Jena 6 story is a joke. It was no big deal until the race pimps decided they didn't have enough news time and needed to ***** about something.Originally Posted by BlkCD5

Now I love to shoot pool and I feel safe if I walk into a black, white, asian, mexican, etc pool hall. Other than people looking at me and thinking "Damn there is a white person here". I don't think any race pays more attention to the fact I'm a white guy in a black pool hall.
I'm not saying that all racial tension is gone. Nor do I think we'll ever get to the day that we sit together and hold our interacial hands and sing kumbaya with a bunch of dirty smelly hippies. But I think we tolerate each other well or better than what the south is believed to be.
Personally I think every yankee reads "To Kill a Mockingbird" and thinks the south is still like that.
