    Default OBD2a - OBD1 conversion Harness question.

    Original Motor: F22A1 (OBD2A)
    New Motor: DOHC F20A (OBD1)
New ECU: Stock ECU for the F20A (P6 or something like that)

Can I just use a conversion harness and be done? or do I need to go through the trouble of buying all new sensors?

Should be the same as a Civic swap of the same sort. Use a jumper harness and the ECU for the new motor. Think the jumper harness you'd need is an OBD2A-1 harness.

    obs2a to obd1 harness.

buying new sensors will do nothing as the motor has no place for certain sensors.

he dosnt need to change sensors or anything. all he has to do is buy a jumper harness so he can plug up obd1 ecu, other than that its plug and play.

there needs to be a minus rep button for people like above.

your best option is to reuse the obd2 hardware and wiring, injectors.
