    Default ABS Problem

My ABS isn't working and the dash light isn't on. I checked all the fuses and the 50amp ABS motor fuse was blown so I replaced it. All others were fine.

The ABS still doesn't work. The 7.5 ABS Unit fuse doesn't have any power to it but it isn't blown. Maybe the dash light is blown but I don't want to pull the dash apart yet. I would take it to autozone and get them to check and see if there has been a code thrown for me but they only do 96 and up apparently.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

did you take it for a ride over 25mph and press the brake pedal all the way down if you feel a pulsation it should work. and the light should lit up or blink quickly. if that don't happen check your voltage on a modis and watch your lab scope to see your voltage because it runs ac voltage, or else check voltage to your main abs module if there is no power there could be why your abs don't work.

I'll get back to you... but I don't have a Modis, lol. The ABS isn't working and I can't even confirm that the light on the dash even works. It doesn't come on when I turn the car on like I think it should.

if the light isn't coming on during start up on while hte ignition is on the "on" position, then your abs dash light isnt working.

Anyone know if I need the special ABS code reader thing or if I can check it with a regular one?
