need help 2000 si

i have a 2000 civic si mostly stock just cold air and apexi exhaust. i have about 600 dollars and wated to know what i could do for more power

get a kiddracing header for sure, CTR cams if you can luck out and get them cheap like i did, or machine the head if you know how to take it apart and put it back together. seriously the headers are good, i want one bad.

http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/...DD-ENTERPRISES link for the header and CTR and ITR cams have certain grooves on the ends of them so dont let anybody fool you. i have CTR cams and if i remember correctly there are three lines on the cam side of the intake cam. i want a header then a chip and tune, after that it's machine shop time.

i will have import experts or mainstream chip an obd-1 ecu that i have and then tune it on the dyno. i know import experts where i live put my cams in and is like 3-400 for the whole deal. i would look into the header trust me, also if you have to run a test pipe and can get tell you how not to get a CEL from the o2 sensor on the cat.

When tuned properly, cams will net between 15-30hp depending on what cams and what supporting mods. The header should be good for 10hp also with supporting mods.

correct. it's best to do the basics and then tune after cams. i know on my car if i tune it i will notice a big difference, of course when the time comes for machine work i'll have to redo it but that could be a while.

i second this. just make sure you save up about 400$ more to get it tuned properly to which ever power adder you intend to use

an aftermarket intake manifold like skunk2 can give u some good power. especially if u do it together with the other mods stated like the header an camswith those three and with wat u have alreay u can look to get about 30 more hp
