This guy sounds like he knows what hes talking about, if he is capable of boosting it then I think he will know just how far he can push the Qr25, its a bad ass motor and Im sure it will take what you throw at it, good luck. If I keep mine Im gonna go with a supercharger.

just for everyones info that questioned his choice on 8 PSI......turbonetics makes a BOLT ON KIT that puts out 8 and is said to be good for 300 WHP....that is all...

the main factor is WHP and tuning, PSI is almost irrelevent. But, with this turbo, 10-12 PSI should be around 300WHP

6-8 PSI (which will fuck with plenty of people), 10-11.5 as a "scramble" function. I plan to run dual boost controllers on a momentary selector switch, 6-8 PSI 1st and 2nd, high boost on up. It's all planned out.

I think these are the last of the construction pictures:

It's running great, the idle is a little low, and I need to recirculate the wastegate and add a flex section to the downpipe, but it's well worth the $1052.00 it cost me to do it. I'm really ready to upgrade the injectors, get a boost controller, and turn the boost up. But all in time, I've been patient so far.

1st and most of 2nd if I shift hard. It's only on a 3.6 PSI WG spring.

Not really, and now my rims are powder coated white and the vinyl on the windsgield is gone. The front lip cost me about $20, it's modified vintage 1994 Ford Taraus.

It's running, but it's only on a 3.6 PSI wastegate spring, my stock injectors will max out about 5. I'm not in any hurry to spend anymore money (I only spent $1052), once I get injectors I probably can't run them untill I convert to a return style fuel system ( I don't want to find out the hard way), then that means I'll need a 255 fuel pump, and a fuel pressure regulator. I'm still running a stock midpipe in my exhaust, which is about 2in., so I've got a few more things to do untill it's a real threat. I'm going to slowly collect parts for "stage 2" over the next few months.
