I'm only going to be running off of a 3.63PSI wastegate spring untill I get injectors and a 3.5bar map sensor to convert my SACF to correct for boost. Naw, it won't be fast it's a sentraOriginally Posted by Georgia_boy

The wastegate, atmospheric or recirc.?
The manifold came in today. It's a very nice piece. All the flanges are machined, the outside runners have a thick triangler cross section cast in as a support structure. The ports are gasket matched. It's hard to guess the volume of the manifold, but I would say it's simular if not smaller than a weld el manifold, the angles of the bends are smooth and should flow well. It should spool quickly and support very good power output. The wastegate placement is ideal, the opening inside the manifold leading to the wastegate could benifit from a little smoothing and contouring, but will work fine as it is. It's well thought out, designed, and manufactured top notch, I seriously doubt there will be any fitment issues. I'm still going to wait untill after I install mine to set up the group buy. I'm putting it on the weekend before halloween, so not too much longer guys. I'm very excited to see new products for the QR that are of this quality and such a good value.
I promise I'll have pictures soon.
I really want recirc, the noise isn't worth the extra 5hp. It just depends on how much room I have to work with to get good placment.
how much boost you planning on running?
max of 10-11.5, which is good for about 300whp/wtq.
good because i was going to say...you sound like your going farther than i am...but i am also shooting for around 300whpOriginally Posted by Big J

Not yet, too poor at the moment. If anything I'd swap in the 02' maxima final drive gears.
Are you still boosting the Sentra or did you sell it? I saw in the All Motor Section that you said you sold the Spec? Or are you talking about another vechicle!?!?!?!?!
It's at the shop now, I finished most of it today.
UPS is retarded and forgot to put my oil lines on a truck for delivery so I didn't get them Friday. I should be done by tuesday, not on schedual, but good enough, I've never done this before.
Nissan Sentras are so gay.
LOL....still think of how fast that bitch is going to be when you get it finished!!!!! I still want to race you when i get mine finished!!!!Originally Posted by Big J

J HOW MANY PSI DO YOU THINK YOUR GONNA BE PUSHIN BECUASE I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT QR25 CAN'T HOLD MORE THEN 8 PSI ON STOCK INTERNALS
you know this how?? big j, what kind of times you hoping for?Originally Posted by QR25

You should be able to push 10-12 max, so long as the tune is good and you know what your doing. Running the SAFC with throttle position as an imput instead of using a MAP signal probably lowers the max boost potential. I'd say 300-310whp is about as high as I would be comfortable with, that's probably 10-11.5 PSI.

300 WHP is not risking it, I'll listen to a 19 year old kid who work at a parts store when I need a gas cap.

Starting to look more like a complete car again.

HAHA my age has nothing to do with what I know, and what I know from working at Nissan, and personally driving more boosted spec vs then you will ever dream, is that you will never push that many PSI on your stock motor. you might make it a few minutes, ill give you that... I just dont want to see another QR25 go to waste.Originally Posted by Big J

the saga continues....
If the dude wants to try it and thinks that he can do it, dispite if others tell him that it isnt a good idea...at the end of the day it is his car to do what he pleases, not yours or mine or transaxle's.
I dont know much about the QR25 even though I drive one, but normally stock internals on most cars that get boosted are good for about 15psi give or take a lil bit which is about where he is sitting.
Big J looks good man...I would like to see this thing in person running with no holes in the block![]()
