    The coolest part is when I overhear conversations at meets of people saying:

    "dude, see that blue lancer over there? that kid's a ricer... it's just a ralliart with a body kit, i'll bet you money its true..."

    Are we talking regular Lancer or Ralliart? The Ralliart isn't a 2.0 it is a 2.4 with 160 ft/lb torque stock. I have seen boosted Ralliarts with around 220-240 ft/lb of torque that were decently quick. Sure, a Honda can have more horsepower dollar for dollar most likely but I bet it wouldn't have as much torque.

    You're retarded. Ralliart or a regular run of the mill POS lancer with a turbo kit is still really slow.

    1439/2000: I love it when people have attitudes like yours. Basically you are more of a magazine driver than a real driver (meaning you go by numbers and not drivability). A car with 240 ft/lbs of torque and 235 hp could beat a car with 300 hp if it is set up properly. It also depends on how the car is being used. Most rally cars only have 300 hp because that is all they need. There are many different types of racing. Quickness is all relative my friend. The most important thing is a good usable power band. Look how many cars there are out there that are only dyno queens with impressive numbers.

    You aren't telling anything I dont already know, and you obviously know a ton about me. I go by numbers and not driveability. Yes, exactly.

    A lancer is a daily driver.

    I can see how that could be true if the 300hp car is heavier, or its a road course. But a 235HP Lancer beating an 300HP evo?

    One thing I hate: People who buy Lancers because they think since the Evo is fast, the Lancer must be.

    Now granted if you spend enough money, anything can beat anything.
