That sounds right.......did you buy a can or make one? You do have the air filter on top of the can right (sounds dumb but if you made it you might have forgot it)? PCV and VC should T and go into the can (check) then out of the can into the intake manifold(check) Sounds right to me.

When you say it stayed there......you mean it took a minute to drop, then dropped real slow......or you had to turn the car off with it at 3K?
