    And FYI USDM240 (with a Silvia front, makes sense ), and IgnorantS14, I also own a fucking Nissan that is RWD and not a mother fucking bandwagon 240.

    I dyno'd 154rwhp with my ka. Though it spun a rod less then two weeks later. True story. I then went and bought and sr then rb20 then rb20 then ca18 then rb20 then rb26 then sr then sr and now am buying another sr. So as you see, after 154whp blew my ka, I decided that even a rb20>ka. And thats a pretty big statement saying there exists a motor that is inferior to the rb20.

    Yep. Even the beater ass, turbo smoking, valve tap bellowing, jdm junkyard clunker rb20 can withstand more hp stock for stock then the ka.

    I don't mind KA-T's, or RB20's, but unless you're gonna build a KA, it's not worth it. Yes you can get some easy torque, but it generally never lasts that long. Before too long you're replacing pistons. I liked my RB20 because it would hold the power better than the KA-T, but didn't have the torque that the ka-t did, but it had more reliablity at least to 308hp for over a year at 14psi. Now SR's, I hate to say it, but I've never had problems with them, swap them into a 240 and everyone beats on them and they last. I've known plenty of people running around with 400 hp SR's on stock internals for a long time. I can't argue with that. SR's are easy to swap, and work on compared to RB's, you can do one in your own garage at home in a day or two. I've done all of the swaps, and SR's are the most cost effective for everyone, and can make the power.

    Well being different and going KA-T can be fun, but if I am going to drop 6-7 grand building a nice turbo setup and a built KA, you'll sit back and realize that you just dropped 7 grand on a stock 240, thats a nice down payment on a newer sports car of my liking, a C5 vette. That doesn't even include the 3g's you spent on the fornt end conversion, wheels, or suspension over the past 3 years while saving for your motor. Or I can drop 4 grand on a S14 SR with exhaust, and a FMIC, and boost controller, and make 300hp all day long out of a 240, and still have 4g's left for a nicer car. So there's nothing worng with 240's, you just gotta think long term about your decision.
