Someone send me some motivation. I could have the Shitbox running this weekend if I'd get off my ass and put some parts on it.
The Shitbox
Someone actually brought their Fiat Sport to IA?? haha That's awesome!
Almost makes me wish I had taken the GTI.........almost.

Trust me you have no idea how long I've been wanting to wind my life down for a while. I have not relaxed in 4 months it sucks. I've got my fingers-crossed before I station overseas that they'll send me home. Idc if I have to buy the ticket and even if it's just for a week. When I get back, we're definitely getting it down, I'm inviting someone over too while I'm at it.
I wish I went to IA just to get a badass rolling shot by Corbin.
You were missed, but honestly the Mainstream meet was better than IA this year...you should have come to that.
I'm sure Corbin wouldn't mind snapping a shot for you on the way to Drift ATL, just be sure to ask him. Don't be so negative about your truck, it's a truck not a garage queen. If you like it that's all that should matter.
Well... If I come over friday night and saturday evening with a whip, some latex outfits and a ball-gag, would that motivate you?
lol seriously though, I'd be down to come over friday night and saturday evening to help (or if you dont want me to touch anything I can "supervise"). I might even bring the beer
Two of the most homo cars on IAFaggin' Wagon & Queer Kar
Yeah man it definitely has. I saw you and Tommy at the light by best buy. I was trying to get ya'll to understand there was a cop right behind me I didn't want ya'll to take off and get pulled over.
Dude I told you I used to be a post whore back in 06-07..I've been out of the car world for nearly 5 years lol
I saw you and at first I thought someone else was driving your car lol Then I saw the fenders and was like "I dont think that's tommys car" haha

Oh the beauty of being able to reverse the map back to stock. I know of a few people that have done this and have yet to run into issues.
Yes but she went to APR to have it flashed, so I'm assuming she doesn't have the hardware to reflash. Assuming it's a serious problem she won't be able to drive back to APR to revert the map, unless she knows someone local who can help her out
This is not news to me. I knew this before I even considered my ECU upgrade. My service guy over at Jim Ellis knows about it. He knows about all of it. The only thing he told me was that he wanted to keep it a secret and then he asked if APR had a shop in Georgia now that he could visit. I'm not too worried about it...even if they do end up voiding my warranty.
This helps as well. I would've set it back to stock, but I was running late that morning and completely forgot

I think it's time for a chill pill. No one was insinuating that you were stupid. This is a discussion forum for discussion, we were having a discussion about the visibility of a reflash. Nothing more.
VW/AUDI CAN SEE THE FLASH and odds are VW will void any warranty.
Go on VWVortex/Audizine etc. They will tell you the same thing. You can be running your stock tune all day long but just because those other flashes are on board it will void it(depending on the person you get). I had a short shifter in my IS300...they tried to not cover my clutch being replaced at 70k miles bc of it. One has nothing to do with the other from a wear standpoint, and while I was incredibly hard on the car it shouldn't have mattered. I eventually had my way but regardless dealerships are going to do whatever they can to get around having to fork out money.
I'm telling you they can see the tune, and if you get someone who is "by the book" you can kiss the warranty goodbye. Keep in mind, it's German and it's a VW..they're expensive to fix when it does go wrong. Keep it stock. Do go fast stuff post warranty and just save your money.
Oh and a flash loader doesn't hide anything it simply just changes the tune. So if you have a "race" option you can spend $8/gallon and run 100 octane and get to go fast If you want to do stuff like steve was saying go to Ross-Tech's website and look up their VAGCOM software kits. That's your best shot. But if you aren't worried about it then keep the flash loader unless you wanna do things like change the chimes in the car, roll down you windows with the key, things of that nature.
