It really depends on your goals. If you're boosting, d-series motors are a good starting point. You will get better results boosting a b-series, but the money invested in the swap could be put toward the d-series. N/A they are not worth the time unless your name is Bisi LOL (some will argue tho).

Also, you can't really compare an eg to an ef. EFs tend to be quicker with the same swaps due to being lighter.
