On a serious note, who is willing to replace all my suspension bushings for me? I know it's ALOT of work so I don't even want to mess with it.
Someone throw me a price.

But then is it THAT big of a difference replacing all those bushings cause it sure is a lot of damn work.
Well considering that our cars are close to 20 yrs old, their old bushings are more than likely cracking or worn slap out. But for you since they don't add any WHP I guess you could do without them![]()
Update
I bought some Hawk HP+ front & rear brake pads, and some russell stainless brake lines yesterday![]()
Well I should be picking up my transmission tonight or tomorrow. Still need to get all the rear bushings done, and install all the shocks, etc. Freaking Truehonda never shipped the freaking top hats. Once I got all my other Groundcontrol stuff i called and asked where they were and was told they were shipping out the next day. So I wait a week and get nothing. I call them up again and ask about them again. He said other people have ordered the same setup after me and all recieved them. Well turns out they never shipped them to begin with. So they finally shiped them yesterday, but they wont be here till thursdayOriginally Posted by mushroom_toy
They didnt even offer to overnight them or anything. Don't order from them

chrisbays engine harness is now installed![]()
UPDATE: 3/10/08
Well i've been working on the EF as much as possible(= a little bit here and there), and have got a good bit accomplished. I have been slacking in the picture deptment though. So since the last time I posted the tranny has been reinstalled w/ new axles. Then we put on the front suspension etc. Chris redid my harness and it cleaned up very nicely. Then we fought with the rear trailing arm bushings. Well the tool i bought is for 88-00 civics and 94+ integras. The DA bushings are bigger and the tool wouldn't push them in straight.(BTW Slack's Machine shop and every other shop we called would not press them in, now I know why) So after some debate I went and picked up some 91 civic RTAs and swapped my disc brakes over too them instead. They had decent bushings, so I left them for the time being. (my tool will work for these). Then I installed the RTAs and all the rear suspension. Tested fitted a wheel and figured out that I need to do some fender rolling (expected). So went ahead and rolled the driver's side to see how bad it was going to be. It ended up going easy, and I didnt have to do to much in order for good fitment. Now i;m still waiting on my brake pads and lines to come in and ill have every thing to complete it. I'm scheduled to get retuned on Sat. as well.Heres a few pics

UPDATE 3/15/08
Well she is going now, and i'll update with some pics as soon as possible. When we redid the wiring harness it ended up breaking the brittle wires from the original swap, so we had to figure that out. Once that was done I set it off the jackstands and set the ride height. It looked sick slammed, but not pratical. Then took it and got an alignment done. While driving it I seemed to be real laggy and wouldnt hit full boost. So after going over all the couplings, exhaust gaskets, etc. Turns out my wastegate took a crap. So its good to go now, and I just put my Walboro 255 in, and I am getting retuned today. :scared:
Yeah, my trackday is thursday so if not this week for sure next week. I got to the dyno today and got retuned with my Walboro.Originally Posted by mushroom_toy

Everything went great. The civic is done, and ill post up some pics asapOriginally Posted by mushroom_toy
how did the retune go?
nice build, cant wait to see these finished pics? btw, did you say what size those rims are?? 15x7's right?
Decent, had a boost leak problem, and couldnt get it to hold full boost at red line. So it didnt make any better power, but now I can rev all the way to redlineOriginally Posted by bigdare23
And I fixed the problem now
