Dude, bad news...car is still running SUPERBLY...but went to the sniffer test and failed across the board! WTF! Pulled cat, looked it over, it was pretty well clogged, but the element was still in there in full...
Despite we had no codes, we went ahead and threw a brand new "OEM Bosch" o2 sensor, and new cat in there...wish her luck...
Oh, also, we tested the fuel pressure...it's dead on 28 which is where it's supposed to be...

Was the dizzy. Replaced it...ran better, but not passing emissions, yet. Soon!

Actually, just got word back from the emissions...HC and CO is too high. Emissions guy says something's probably messed in the air/fuel mixture. Any guesses? I'm about ready to scrap the project, and just take it off the street...

Don't do that. I'll see what my friend had to do to get his B16 CRX to pass emissions. It smokes like a bonfire and he got it to pass without paying someone off LOL

hey joker, i know there's some stuff at auto zone that you put in your car and it "suppose" to pass emission LOL. Just a long shot.
I finally got a chance to test my car out a little bit against a worthy (or at that time I thought was a worthy) opponnet. A new Hyundai Tiburon V6 (i saw the little emblem as I passed LOL).
I was leaving columbus, talking to Toonz on the phone, and then a tiburon shot passed me doing the all mighty "ricer rev." So I got of the phone with Toonz and caught up with the car. He gets caught behide traffic, so I slows to about a car length or two behide him. Then when he saw an opening he guns it. {Roy Jones Jr voice} He "musta forgot" that any opening he can squeeze through, i can too. So off I go. In a matter of seconds I'm on his bumper, then I move over to the fast lane and pulls up to his driver's door. After that I let off the gas, cuz it wasnt worth it anymore. So basically, he had 1-2 car length lead, tried to squeezed through a small gap in traffic to leave me, and lost what ever lead he had in a matter of seconds. I just checked the specs and he should of dogged me (172hp---181lbs/ft). New cars these days are horrible!
