Where are the turbos? Hahahahaha!
maybe one day. its hard enough just getting it to run in stock form in this car, lol.
finally, a little bit of update. i decided to tackle some of the wiring since i was waiting on other parts to come in. i focused mainly on getting power to the starter. i took the entire power side off my 4 cylinder harness and wired it up to the neccessary parts on the klde. i was almost there when i ran into one plug that i had no clue where it went to. i knew it was ignition related since it only had power in the on position. well with the help of another bf 323 owner he pointed me exactly in the right direction.
apparently, its the reverse light switch for the transmission. the reason i couldnt find the plug was obviously because i dont have a 4 cylinder transmission anymore. i simply bridged the two thicker wires and wahlah! with the turn of the key, starter power. at least half way anyway. im thinking my starter might be pooped out. but at least it has power.
as an added bonus that i didnt even expect, fuel came pouring out through the line. the same wire also powered the fuel pump relay. so power and fuel, so far. :goodjob:

nice
coming together nice louis.
keep up the good work
 when are you making another trip here?
not sure. im doing a swap for a guy down here right now then i have to change the head gasket on the yota truck. lol
Well do it. :goodjob:
bit u know pt dont hang with us any more lol
MOAR updates please :)
Nothing much going on right now. Waiting on a fuse box to join my 4 and 6 cylinder harnesses. I got my passenger side axle today but realized I still need a half shaft. :(
after these things I need a custom radiator and a few other little things and I should be able to at least fire it up.
Did I miss something? Why are you doing a 4cyl and 6cyl harness? This might be a simple thing I'm overlooking but my brain isn't functioning all to well today.
i love the way you flipped it man :ninja: lol
im down with that. :goodjob:
i was going to keep the stock alternator, starter, etc. harness from the 4 cylinder. joe advised this. lol
i do have the entire mx3 gs alternator harness and fuse box on the way though...so which would be easier? mx3 gs power harness or stock BF power harness thats already wired up?
what a way to say hey after all this time. lol :tongue1:
or maybe i got a better idea...... take that DE out and get u a ZE with ITBs and run 12s like me
lol had to make a appearance seeing as though you were doing the v6 swap...how much further do u have to go?
Ah ok, well if it works I see no reason to change it. I usually see the guys who do the 4cyl to v6 swaps just use the entire harness from the GS thats why I was wondering. BUT no point in spending extra money if the other harness works :)
Actually he would be better off just getting a klg4, S rods and some 11:1 pistons. Would be cheaper and yield more power than purchasing a klze.
Well the harness came in today. I'll take some pictures for you guys to see what I'm working with. When are you two coming down?! Lol :D
updates?
Hurry up we dont have all day. This should be done by now.... :D
this is my first swap im trying. :tongue1:
i havent done much because i need a half shaft. i dont want to risk firing it up with no axle in the trans.
just to keep you guys happy, a little update
ordered an egr block off. the weird thing about having the millenia intake on the probe block is that the egr is now in two different places. millenias have the egr on the manifold while probes, mx6s, and 626s have them on the block...so i had to get one for the block as well. the plate on the block is an oem one off a millenia.
the aftermarket one

the oem one, tried my best to get a decent picture..

here's a little taste of the wiring nightmare. im starting to get the hang of it...kinda. i havent really cut deep into the harness yet. where my hand is the part of the harness that i need to dig through. same goes for the other picture with the green and yellow plugs on it. i wont be needing most of that anymore.

hope to make some real progress soon. ive got to finish taking the 4 cylinder loom apart to keep the necessary wires.
just finish it already! lol jkjkjk
but seriously its coming along nicely man! id hate to be the one doin the wiring though the only wires i know how to mess with are system wires for subs and stuff
Damn Louis, you might get this done before I get my Integra done. lol. Progress is looking good. We should try to all meet up and hit up Hooters or something sometime. Been a minute since I last kicked it with you fellas.
ive been waiting till it gets warm before i ask evan when the next meet is lol
yeah i cant wait until the 323 gets back out on the streets. we will definitely get the warner robins/macon meet back up. :goodjob:
guess there is only one person left.. :ninja:
haha just hit me up with a date and time and ill be there!
did a little work on the car today. i was pretty disappointed on the outcome. i grabbed a halfshaft off a probe at the local junkyard today, and put my mx3 axle into it. i went to bolt it to the block and slide it in the hub. the holes line up perfectly but the the whole setup it too long. i guess i will have to get it shortened. what a set back.. :(
the hub sticks out much too far.
http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...1/SDC10804.jpg
this might give a little idea of how far it sticks out.
http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...1/SDC10806.jpg
Damn that sucks man. Get it shortened so you can crank her up. :)
good job. reps for you...........
BIT JUST CUT THAT ISH.
dang that sucks man
Wont it be more likely to snap if you cut and weld? Good progress though. Hopefully the prelude will be done before the 323. lol.
