That's pretty cool. I can't wait to see some more vids. Maybe get rid of the stock ecu and run MSnS. I think you'll be happy with it.
Siccckk!
ive heard MS can get some pretty decent power out of a stock KL. maybe one day when i have $500 to drop on engine management. lol thanks though. when i get my hoses ran and the engine cleaned up there will definitely be more videos. :goodjob:
thanks.
reps to all i can.
just curious, why not a klze?
this KLDE was free with a blown HG. you work with what you got.
free > $800+.

MAN!!! I LOVE YOUR CAR!!! no home ha ha
you have to see it in person. the light makes it seem that the whole plug is black. but the tip is almost completely white.
i bought some colder plugs today though so i hope it works. i need at least a 6 heat range and i was using 5's.
and dom, "you never have gas." :tongue1: lol
thanks duuude.
Saw the video. Fucking kick ass shit you got. Now when you sell it make sure you call me first.
im waiting on a custom cable to hydro clutch setup that was made for me. its being shipped from canada hopefully in the next few days.
and there is one known 1987 KLZE swapped one in New Zealand. lol
dont u mean hydro to cable i mean u are repacing the slave with a cable?? right??
You following the build on FF.com? Dude has one going in his festiva(first document build of a v6 Festy), and it is funny because you guys are like neck and neck with your builds. I think he is about to roll it out of the garage like today or something.
Looks good. Builds like yours make me seriously want to go find another festiva and build one up.
whats the gap on the plugs?
Believe me, I would. It is just a full time job trying to find a festiva that is worth-while anymore. I wish I didn't sell my cream-puff 88L a couple years back for that very reason.
ok so i got the temp gauge working. it was just that i had not let it run long enough for the temp gauge to even move..lol. but right as it got to running temp and i shut it off, i leaned over the engine bay to release the pressure off the cap and my custom top hose busted off the reducer and sprayed hot coolant all over my face, eyes, and mouth. needless to say im in pain. so now i sit here and type to you will aloe all over my face. lol
but i learned my lesson. when you think its tight enough, tighten it more.
hopefully not. lol i reacted fast enough to cover my face with my hands and run away..probably would have been a lot worse if it wasnt for that.
this was done last night but i didnt get a chance to post until now.
and let me say now, IM NOT A WELDER. my buddy was sick so i went ahead and gave it a shot myself. lol
