Those connecting rods are about $700 EACH...

Why would you think the IPS manifold is not swap friendly? Look at all the free room

You really do need to go start reading on www.k20a.org.

To everyone saying " go get IPS this or that" do you truly know how long it will take you to get your parts? I would say 6 months AT LEAST. Also how many of you realize cams are $1600 and the intake manifold is $2000. Plus unless you are a butt buddy with nikos or have been swinging off an IPS' affiliates nuts you are NOT gonna get an intake I promise.

I have a stock k24/k20 and it rips for what it is.

If I were gonna build a motor on a decent budget I would go with Drag Cartel cams I think they are running a special now on cams and valvetrain for less than $1000. Not to mention they hold the World Record for the fastest/quickest NA k series

Also my friend just made 250whp and 185 on a stock k24a1 bottom end I sold him and off the shelf parts.

I would recommend people to get a working and driving swap going THEN decide if you wanna build a motor.

Something else to keep in mind is you go spend about $700 on a used nitrous kit and you have 300WHP all day long on any k-series with real I-vtec

    i already have the swap.
i just need to get the k24 bottom end.
so i should stick with the rbc intake, drag cartel cams or the s2s3 witch ever is cheaper..
im not waiting 6 months for parts.
and i can get a good deal on eagle rods and cp piston so im gonna go with those.
i'm also going to do a 3 angle valve job with skunk 2 valve springs and retainers.
