this is one we did at mainstream. k24 w/ k20a2 head, 11:1 comp, rbc intake, custom tri-y header, s2s3 cams, s2 tb.

    here are some other examples:
    1. skunk2 did the same build inhouse at 11:1 and made 254whp/191wtq.
    2. six sigma did the same build w/ full k20a2/itb's and made 253whp/171wtq.
    3. eriksracing did a k24/k20a2 at 13.8:1 comp, rbc, ported head s2s3 cams ssr header and made 330fwhp/237fwtq...should be in the ballpark of 280whp/195wtq.
    4. church automotive did the same build as ours w/ 12.5:1 comp and made 307fwhp/224fwtq...should be in the ballpark of 265whp/195wtq.
    5. stage3 did the same build as ours w/ 13.7:1 comp and made 292whp/220wtq.

based on these examples i wouldn't say itb are all that and certainly not the best option if you plan on still daily driving...it can be done, but these examples can give you ideas how you want to proceed.

    ok.
so get a k24 block with rbc intake, s2s3 cams and a ported head.
since you work at mainstream how much do you think it will cost me to get a ported head?
