Depends on how the whole intake is set up. Draw-throughs like SU-type carbs can work and could probably provide enough fuel if properly set right, though it'd likely run very rich at idle. Would definitely require new jets. Webbers and Solex/Mikuni's would probably have less issues with being rich at idle, but the same issues with requiring new bits and baubles to work right for it, definitely cost intensive.

The other problem with this setup is that if you use an intercooler...you're looking at maybe 3+ feet of tubing and intercooler after the turbo until you're inside the engine, the whole time the air is carrying gas with it. I've seen it before on S30 Z's but I honestly could not tell you how well it worked for them, never saw the car running, seems oddball to me, and I'm iffy on it.

The other way is to set up a blow-through turbo system, where the system works a bit more like conventional FI, where the Carb is right before the Manifold and the gas gets added as the air is on it's way in to the engine. It has it's own set of issues too, mostly with making sure fuel gets added properly. What kind of car are we talking about, and why isn't fuel injection a possibility? Megasquirt makes a kit that'll fit anything.

Here's a guy talking about a Turbo 510. Probably has more answers for you than I did. He doesn't use an Intercooler, by the way.
