im not a big ford fan, but the best bang for the buck would be a fox body with a built engine. you can get a body for around $2500, and have the rest to spend on engine/tranny/suspension.

If I had $10k to spend on any car I would get 97+ prelude (I saw one with 140k miles and no engine/tranny for $3200 on ebay a few weeks ago) and buy a F22C ($4000 on ebay), S2000 rear end, and do a RWD conversion on a prelude.

-Techtonics Cat-Back exhaust w/ borla muffler
-Supercharger of some sort
-Patec Holeshot Coilovers
-Euro bumpers
-Euro VR6 lip, OEM side skirts
-Decent stereo setup
-Polished intake manifold
-decent header of some sort
-Paint it white

I'd build an FC (or my FC).

Cage, Coilovers, Super angle steering kit, Steering wheel w/quick release, seat + harness, some hot ass 17's, B&N sports body kit of some sort, kaaz lsd, act clutch... Oh and a pistol grip hurst shifter.

And A spare Motor and trans.

Basically exactly what i have planned for my car, not in that particular order, but whats in the works for next year...

i'd get like a wrecked ferrari F430 or F360 shell or something and put a stock D series in in the front and gut out the back and make it into a trunk, then fix all of the immense crazy body/ frame damage with JB weld, bondo and aviation scissors. Get a bling bling paint job after that and sell it on ebay ftw.
