nice... sounds like you had alot of blowing the tires off the line and if you can keep it from falling out of boost it will be close to 10s. how much power do you make?

Yea to high a stall could do that, and get a manual valve body so you have to shift it lol

Don't go with the C4 - it's light, but not as strong as a TH400. The TH400 is the best option, and still has some street manners.
I just switched over to an AOD. I wanted to retain overdrive, so it was really the only option. It eats up a ton of power, but that is a sacrifice that I decided was worth it.
Higher stalls usually result in faster times, but make it more aggravating on the street. I decided not to go with a high stall, but still went non-lockup.
A good valve body is a must. I went with one that still works normally in auto, but allws for good manual shifting, with reverse lockout, and ratcheting to keep me in the correct gear.
My new transmission setup is very streetable.
I'm still dealing with cooling issues, so I'm working on that now. My front bumper seems to be blocking too much air.

Listen to this guy, he knows his shit And i was gonna say the front bumper on all the mustangs are pretty shitty when it comes to airflow, now add in a 3.5" intercooler in front of your radiator lol

If I remember correctly I believe 400 on a mildly built one 600+ on the more all out ones, but im sure you can make em hold more

    Performance automatic makes a 1000hp c4

Depends on how they are built. I know of racers that still run them at 1000hp - but they don't care if they have to rebuild them after every few races. I wouldn't bother with them. Just go straight for the TH400. You won't outgrow it. It's the only other tranny that I would have considered for my foxbody, and one of the 2 that I would consider for the Supra.

Here is where I would get my transmission from: http://racewithjw.com/
Here are the other two places that I would talk to:

I'm getting ready to change the whole car up - then I will update the sig.
My FMIC seems to be blocking too much, so I'm going to pull it off. Might go with the AEM methanol injection kit, or the Vortech aftercooler. My air temps are almost 200 degrees, and my coolant is close to 220 now. I can't run the car until I get some airflow.
BTW - I'm putting on a Donathen bumper support - allows a lot more airflow. You might be interested in one also. Kurgan keeps them in stock.

i'm gonna get there with more seat time. car goes straight as an arrow even with the higher boost
Auto trans will knock like a second off with the right stall lol but problem is usually the higher the stall the harder and more impossible it is to drive on the street which i agree takes away from the fun of the car.

Looks good though and good luck on faster times
