backpressure is overrated when you're making real power....I think part of my problem with the GTO and trying to go to a 250 shot was the fact that we couldn't get the exhaust out fast enough

lol, it doesn't man, my brother has an 89 GT convertible with H pipes, it sounds good but never scary. an 03 boosted stang did though, only the fact of hitting a tree at 140mph. but that thing ran great. i bet someone around here still has that car.

well dont have a shitty 2v head design that doesnt flow shit lol back pressure is not needed i lose power on my car with a muffler and back pressure...and in a real car you can spare a couple ft lbs of tq for almost .2 in the 1/4

i am not sure if you can, it may just be the 5.0' that can do this, but can't you use a gt40 or gt40p heads on it. i know this is something a 5.0 can do and i am not sure of head swaps for a stang. i just dont know as much about them as i should since my brother has always had one.

it may, depends on the power it puts down. i was only concerned going fast in corners with that much power in an open top car!!! it's probably still around the atlanta area unless someone wrecked it. someon put some money into it that's for sure. the guy who owned it his dad owned streetwires back in the day so he went from a regular GT to that. he kept it for a month and sold it, i think it scared him a couple of times. I learned something new, i had no idea they had a 5.0 in a 94.

gt40 heads were for the 5.0 motors.....when did the mod go to the pi heads.....99? if he has a pi 4.6 he is one step closer to running with a stock mach 1....just need 4.10s, longtubes, head work, cams and a tune!

i wasn't sure about the heads. i know it was mentioned abt the 2v heads and i knew of them for a 5.0 and i have read there were 2 types of heads but i did not read the difference in them or what they could go on.
